Trail Not Looking So Good

neonfxp

Question

ok so i have installed the trail of this software and have made my only option to pay as paypal.

client can log in and pay with paypal however once they have paid i get a paypal paid note from paypal, and the client gets theres as well from paypal but in BLESTA it sits at unpaid status???

this is kinda odd because it would make sense to have it auto marked as paid which whmcs does... any help would be great this is getting rather frustrating.

have you enabled in your paypal account the IPN url?

You need to enable it and fill an url, and payal will take in priority the IPN URL submited by Blesta when doing a transaction request, but if nothing is enabled at paypal, paypal will not be doing any Communication back to Blesta.

Do you see the transaction in Blesta? Was an invoice paid, or was payment made without an invoice specified? If the payment was issued as a credit in Blesta, then it would by default be applied to invoices when the cron runs. If a specific invoice is paid, then it should be applied immediately.

I'm assuming the client clicked the PayPal button within Blesta also, correct?

Bellow is what i see for the invoice and transaction option, the invoice was sent to his email and he then logged into Blesta  and from there clicked pay with paypal after paying the payment it took him back to blesta and said thanks for paying. from there we are waiting and waiting....

Could be any of the following:

1. PayPal is ignoring the information Blesta is sending to it so it didn't call Blesta after the payment, so the answer is set-up the IPN to force PayPal to use it

2. Your PayPal email address on the module isn't the "primary" email address on PayPal.

1. The IPN is setup in Blesta as shown here

2. as for the paypal email address i only have one email in there.

Haha that's a cheeky one for you, PayPal can sometimes be a pain that was saying it wouldn't send anything back to Blesta. Glad you've got it working :)
