Hi All,

I would like to ask for a feature that allowed revenue forecast added to the billing widget.

For example..

Server Cost : $100

Monthly / Yearly Revene * 3 Months / * 6 Months / * 12 Months - Server costs over the same period to give you a financial forcast.

So a 3 Month forecast would show

3 x Month with all revenue for those months - $300 = Profit.

Thanks

Steve

Blesta doesn't know what your costs are, rather only the pricing you are selling services for, so I'm unsure how you would expect the system to determine profit.

We've had revenue forecasts in the past, but it was met with overwhelmingly negative criticism, and therefore wasn't included in v3. I think most found it to be too "inaccurate".

I wouldn't mind having revenue forecasts in the future, but I think better support for determining revenue would be necessary first, e.g. CORE-1479.

+1 for this feature

I wouldn't want blesta to try and determine profit but would like it to be able to add up all the subscriptions to show gross income for the year.  Is this possible now?  Maybe I overlooked where to find it?  This is the only thing holding me back from switching from WHMCS.

The [billing] -> [Overview] page shows a "Billing at a Glance" widget that lists current revenues. Any type of revenue forecasting wouldn't come until after CORE-1479 as mentioned above. If you have specific expectations of what you'd like to see regarding future revenue, like the OP, that would be good to know.
