Cpanel Module Not Connecting To Cpanel Server

aklik

Question

Hello,

I'm still trying to connect from blesta to cpanel but creating the server fails with error:

A connection to the server could not be established. Please check to ensure that the Hostname, User Name, and Remote Key are correct.

I checked the ports, 2087 it is open, I'm using the SSL option in cpanel module, I'm not using a reseller account, I'm trying to connect using root account, I'm not sure what else I can try, I can't find any error in the logs, on cpanel machine or blesta machine. I tried to add the hostname as fqdn or IP address, port is not specified there.. still nothing.

I'm using a trial Blesta version 3.4.3

What else I could possible try?

Thank you!

thanks for help guys, I sort it out. Was a DNS issue.. however now I have a different issue, in the package I can see the packages created in cpanel.. all good.. just that when a user buys something from blesta the account is not created in cpanel.

in logs I only have the package list command.. nothing else..

Sounds like you are missing some reseller privileges or something.

If there is no log about the cPanel module attempting to create the account, then cPanel never attempted to do so. Once an order is placed, the invoice needs to be paid before the system will attempt to activate the service and create it in cPanel. Even if it is paid, you may have the order form configured to require manual approval of orders before they can be activated, and you simply haven't manually approved the order.
