Migrating Packages

austenite

Question

Hi,

I've had a search around and can't find my answer so was hoping someone would be able to help.

Let me tell you a little bit about our setup - we have several servers in the UK, EU and US setup with the built in CPanel module.

We recently migrated a customers websites who has two packages with us from a UK server to an EU server as per his request. Now we want to update his package from his UK package to his new EU package but can't find anywhere to change his package on the client package management area.

Does anyone know how to do this? Have I overlooked something simple?

Any help would be appreciated.

Are your UK and EU cPanel packages in different Package Groups? If they are in the same group you can do an "Upgrade/Downgrade" between packages by managing the service.

If they are in different package groups, see https://docs.blesta.com/display/user/Reassign+Pricing

If you are moving them from 1 cPanel server to another and the package is the same, you can change their server if it's in the same server group by managing the service (A drop down will appear at the top). You may also need to do this after changing the package if both the package and the server have changed.

i feel he is wanting to change the module_row_id from the admin side , if he is not working with group , he can't do anything in such case . even if the reassign pricing . exist another thread about this behavior .

it would be perfect a way to update the module_row_id if no groups are available .

Yes, I agree. The workaround for the moment is to add both servers to the same server group. It should then be available in the drop down to select the new server when editing the service.
