Whenever someone updates or submits a new ticket I get a notification that its been done, which is great. I want that. But I'm confused as to why the subject always has sort of a hash or CRC-style data in it. For example: "Ticket No: [1019] Updated ::f51106c89e::"
It doesn't show on the customer's side, just on mine. Its the same for every update on the ticket, and is different for each ticket #. Also, my second question, is there a way to make it so the entire ticket history isn't in the e-mails? I'm wanting just the update that the e-mail is being sent about to be in the body, not the past 5+ updates to the ticket as well. |

It's a security token, so you can reply to the email as an admin to update it.
In v3, only the latest update will be sent in the ticket notice email. As far as I know, there is no easy way to change this in v2.5. |
