How does the coupon system work in Blesta v2? I offer monthly service but am looking to use the coupon system to provide the first month only free (i.e.: non-recurring), and then starting the 2nd month it starts charging them.

Coupons in v2.x are non-recurring, so one could be used to provide a free first month. In v3, coupons can optionally be recurring to provide a continual discount.
One thing to watch out for is how you construct the coupon. If it's 100% off, and you offer a 12 month term for example, they would get the entire first year free. If more terms than monthly are available, I would use a specific value discount vs a percentage. |

Sorry but another question. I was browsing through Blesta (v2.5.2) and was noticing that there is no option for a dollar-value coupon, just percentage. Did I not configure something properly?

My mistake, there is only a % option in v2.5, the value option is being introduced in v3.

So what would be the best option for me for what I want to do?
