Default Looking to migrate

Hello there,

We are looking to move away from WHMCS, possibly, with some redevelopment of our systems.

Blesta looks like a brilliant product so far - already looking good as it integrates with Vision Helpdesk, which we use.

However, with over 500 clients, and 1,000 active SolusVM OpenVZ/KVM services, we obviously need a solution that works.

The trial is prepped and will be installed, however how are things for migrating from WHMCS 5 into the current Blesta - and how well from there, your support integration works with Vision.

Other than that, providing we can migrate without too much headache, and SolusVM works, we would love to move forward.

Thanks,
NHANHI

Hi Nhanhi

I would say give the trial a try, try the latest WHMCS import script within our download area (www.blesta.com/download/). The importer is for an older version, but I've heard reports it works with at least 5.0.. give it a try and if you have any errors or encounter any issues we'll work with you to update it and get your data copied over.

Our SolusVM modules currently support OpenVZ and Xen PV, but we are working with someone else on building support for HVM, so assuming all goes well that should be available soon.

We're available for any questions you might have along the way.

You can also expect better support for SolusVM in v3.

Cheers

Thanks for that Paul - we actually provide a bulk of KVM services, the WHMCS product has one module for all SolusVM (I presume it lets Solus handle everything), so you have no support or plans for that?

Unfortunately, despite Blesta looking great, I might have to hold fire if KVM isn't supported (as we have to support the clients we already hold).

Thanks.

Email me sales at blesta dot com and I'll forward you the beta module for SolusVM KVM if you want to test it. Tyson built it today (It's very similar to the other types), and we sent it to another customer but have not fully tested it or heard back yet.

In v3 Xen OpenVZ and KVM will all be part of the same module. In v2.5 it made more sense to break them up.

Some people who are looking to migrate are staying put with their current solution until we release v3. If v2.5 will work, great, if not, I'd recommend waiting on v3 as well.
