Default Plesk support in version 3

Hi
When version 3 is released will it support Plesk 9.5 as version 2.5 does not currently. I have bought version 2 in anticipation of version 3 but have had to implement WHMCS in the interim to support my Plesk version.

Thanks
Paul

I see when adding a Plesk server they allow you to select the version, ie Plesk 8, 9, 10 (And I guess 11 too?)

Does parallels still support their 9.5 release?

I don't think we had plans to implement it this way in v3, but now is the perfect time for you to bring it up. I've made a note of this in our project management for Plesk, so we'll look into it.

If there's anything you think we should know, or think we should watch out for or consider in this module, let us know!

Hi
I think you should look into the packet version embedded in the xml message passed to Plesk from Blesta, at the moment it is 1.4.2.0 and they are using 1.6 and above, some formats have changed and some commands have also chamged the way they are invoked. I can get the current modulke to work better with Plesk 9.5 simply by changing the 1.4.2.0 to 1.6.0.0, I am now working on changing the XML structiure and order to try and get it to fully interact with the Plesk 9.5 API.

Regards
Paul

If you make progress on that and would like to share, please do. Your implementation may shed some light for our developers where their API docs fall short.

Thanks!

Hi
I have it now creating an account if one does not exist and then a domain within Plesk 9.5, I want to try and go a bit further if I can. Once I have done this or run out of ideas I will post the module file here.

One question I have generally about module writing is how I can access other information about the account requesting a domain so that I can pas Plesk fuller account details such as name and address, are these fields easy to extract from the DB from within a module. If so, is there some sample code anywhere.

Thanks
Paul
