We recommend that your resellers use their own copy of Blesta and we have reseller pricing available for that. Currently we have no plans to implement a reseller tier to the current system. We may consider implementing a way to handle affiliates, but resellers should have their own Blesta license.

I'm interested in this affiliates feature, it hasn't really been discussed. How should it work?

it can be to simple , every client has a id , if the new orderd has been affiliated by this client and aproved , the client win a credit (mybe percentage or fixed credit )

you can add a new variable like afiliate that can store the id forwarder ,


for example : order.php?afiliate=151

the client id 151 will be benifict of credit or piont system (only if the order has aproved ) ... that is basically , mybe others has a strong idea

This is easy enough to do, but it brings up some more ideas.

1. Cash payouts? Do you want to be able to pay affiliates or only issue credits to their account?
2. Time based? ie, a client must sign up and have an active, paid account for 3 months before the affiliate makes money.
3. Can anyone be an affiliate, or only clients, or only selected clients?
4. Recurring payments? Will it be a 1 time or recurring payout to the affiliate?

If we will allow cash payouts and it will be time based we'll need a page to track all these. If there is no time criteria and we will be issuing credits only then it will be simpler.

regard your question this is my opinion

1 - issue credits to clients account , and make ability to reset credit to zero if the client will be payout .
2- the basis must be 1 year . or add a box to select every package if can be affileid (so package that not select the affiliate referal is null )
3- i think this not a probleme , anyone are signup in the system can be affiliate , also we can add a page to signup without selecting any pakage for custum signup for affiliate program .
4 - the company have the choice of methode of payment the affiated . can be cash or somthing else .
