    Logged In User Id?

I was going off of yours and CubicWebs previous comments mentioning user_id, which is the value of $logged_in. However, Transactions::getTotalCredit() requires the client_id, and so you must first determine the client by fetching them via Clients::getByUserId().

  4. You can use it for anything almost. It's very modular so you can very easily strip it down to just client management. It has modules which can easily be added and removed from the admin panel. You can have modules developed for you or use modules from 3rd parties or the ones included with Blesta. However, most of these modules available now are hosting related at the moment. It's very extensible.

  6. We're working on getting an importer working for a certain billing solution, so with the intent of adding data into the system I reluctantly log in. I get about two clicks in when suddenly, my pupils dilate, my palms get sweaty, and I begin to salivate uncontrolably. I've only been logged in for a few brief moments and already I've stumbled upon an exploit. I'm thinking, "Okay, that was easy." But I've got work to do. We need to get some test data in there so we can verify the importer. Click, click... vulnerability. Click, vulnerability, click, click, vulnerability, vulnerability, vulnerability. Seriously? A few hours of inputing data and I've discovered more than a dozen vulnerabilities, without looking. No doubt there are many more. They range from mildly amuzing, to "OH $*&! Restore backup!". How do you think we should handle this situation?* *Obviously we'll be disclosing these vulnerabilities to the proper channels... in due time.

    Release 3.0.3

I should mention that the Service Suspension email template was previously never used, and contained placeholder text and tags. When patching, the English, US version of this template will be updated. Be sure to adjust the template content as suitable for your company.

    Starting My Whmcs Import

FYI, the current WHMCS migrator doesn't import packages or services. That's still in the works.

    Core-715 Lives On

Understood. Just to clarify, Cody and I discussed the issue offline and I insisted that it was possibly a bug because of what you said in your original post: It was my understanding by your description of the issue that Restricted packages that were Addons may still appear on the order form. It was a reasonable assumption based on what you said. Since CORE-715 was suppose to resolve this and we confirmed that it was solved for standard packages (non-addons), I thought we may have overlooked restricted addons. What we learned was that you meant it's the Group that appears, not the Restricted Addon Packages. I think what you consider pervasiveness, is actually us not understanding at first what you meant. It wasn't worded correctly, and it was reasonable for us to think we may have missed a particular case. Back to this issue. I see 2 ways forward. 1. Add a setting in the admin area that will force empty package groups not to display on the order form. 2. Never display empty package groups on the order form. You see #2 as being the solution, and view it as a bug. We think some people may want empty package groups to display and are leaning toward #1. We are building for a wide audience. Differences in opinion are welcome, but we're not pervasive just because we disagree. And you make good points, worth considering. Whichever way we go forward on this issue, it will end up working like you want. The only reason we have to become less open minded and ignore or avoid requests and ideas is if things start to become hostile. We aren't interested in drama. Like I said before, if we can move forward on the basis that people understand and trust that we aren't being shady then discussion on all topics can be productive. If you had this assumption to begin with and tried to understand why we did what we did I think you would have been less critical. I think we all want most of the same things, but there will occasionally be contention.. that's to be expected. I just ask, please don't assume the worst of us because we're not in agreement on everything.

    Core-715 Lives On

We appreciate your feedback, and think that it furthers the discussion. What you have to say is often very thoughtful and very useful. However, let's not operate on the assumption that we're trying to pull one over on anyone. That might be how other people operate, but we don't work that way. We're very honest about what we do, why we do it, and how we do it. The label feature was planned before this discussion. We don't try to hide bugs.. we'll be releasing a patch today that fixes about 30 of them. If we wanted to hide, we would encode the entire application. Let's move forward with the understanding that we operate ethically and aren't trying to hide anything from anyone, or save face by pretending bugs aren't bugs. We may not be right 100% of the time, but that's what this forum is all about.

    Migration From Hostbill

They do have a HB system and are doing the importer as I'm aware, I remember Cody saying exploit, exploit, exploit Haha.

    Email Piping

Copy pipe.php and name is pipe1.php (1 for company ID 1, in the future if/when you add additional companies you can create a pipe2.php, etc.), then make the above changes to pipe1.php. Blesta won't overwrite any files it doesn't itself contain, so there should be no problem there. Also, disclaimer, I haven't verified the above change works though theoretically it should.

    Migration From Hostbill

Has Blesta followed through on obtaining a Hostbill dev setup from John or interfasys? We're also looking to jump ship from HostBill after all of the ridiculous licensing changes they've been making since May. If not, I'm happy to provide a small dump of our production database, but that's all I can offer without an NDA being signed. If an importer isn't done by October, I'll be marching forward with a manual import either way. I was a big HostBill supporter for three years, but I'm done.

  21. yes, the api directly calls the models, so you can use the model directly http://docs.blesta.com/display/dev/API#API-WithintheBlestaenvironment // from somewhere in your controller... $this->uses(array("Transactions")); // Now invoke it $this->Transactions->getTotalCredit(1, "USD");

  22. You're looking for a "quick buck" as you explained on LowEndTalk. You want the WHMCS branded license because it lists for 249. You're flipping licenses and that's fine but it's not because it wasn't productive or not mature. That's just misleading. http://lowendtalk.com/discussion/13064/unbranded-blesta-license-for-sale There's nothing wrong with you selling your license. Blesta is solid and only going to get better. I hope you find a buyer.

    New Plugin (Faq)

They've already said they plan on building a knowledge base module and I'm sure that include everything requested in this thread. It will be interesting to see if the support module and knowledge base module tie into each other like described by CubicWebs.

    Help Gatwwey Payament

Hi, It looks like that is a Spanish payment gateway. Do they have any documentation in English? It also looks like they have developed a gateway for WHMCS included in their example implementations zip. Have you tried contacting them and requesting they create a payment gateway for Blesta?
