    Deleting TLDs

Hi all, There doesn't seem to be an option to delete TLDs in the Domain Manager on Blesta 5.5? I'm on the TLD pricing page and although there is the option to disable there isn't an option to delete? I'm imported quite a few TLDs that I don't want to offer and would like to tidy this up by deleting them rather than disabling them, is this possible? Happy to remove direct from the database if this is the only option but wanted to make sure that this won't affect any other systems. Cheers, Mark

    Deleting TLDs

Hi, I got the way to deleting unwanted TLDs. Go to Blesta Admin-->Packages--->click "Toggle Filter" --->Select the Module, example: OpenSRS--->Package group: Select "TLDs Pricing Packages"---Hit "Submit. Now, you can see TLDs delete button. Select 1/more TLDs & delete them. However, this delete button can place at "Domain Options-->TLD Pricing" page as well beside the enable/disable button, that will be much for easier for any new users.

  13. After you configure your TLDs and pricing under Packages > Domain Options, create an order form of the type "Domain and Other" under Packages > Order Forms. This will create an order form with a domain search box, then continue to hosting plans as you've assigned to the order form.

  16. Hello guys, I made a Blesta module that integrates Froxlor into Blesta similar to the cPanel module. Froxlor is a very lightway webhosting control panel written in PHP. It features all basic system management tasks required for webhosting and can be installed manually or from Debian packages. Froxlor allows the creation of standard users as well as resellers based on pre-defined or custom plans. This module enables the creation of users and resellers via Blesta. Whilst users may be created based on pre-defined hosting-plans only, resellers can be assigned custom resources. The installation of the module is pretty easy. You need a working froxlor installation before you can use this module. Download the file of a module release from Github Exract the content into your "/components/modules" folder and rename this folder to "froxlor" Go to the modules section in Blesta admin panel and install the Froxlor module On the page you're redirected to after installation, click on "Add Server". Generate an API Key in your Froxlor panel (top right menu "Options") Copy those API Keys into the corresponding fields in Blesta and click "Add Server" The server can be used now just like any other server resource. Github: GitHub - Hosting-MP/blesta-froxlor: This is a module for Blesta to which it adds integribility with froxlor. Auto-Login directly from Blesta is supported. This module enables the service management in Blesta but it doesn't replace the Froxlor web panel. You cannot modify any services directly from this module, except for password changes of the account. Additionally, this module doesn't sync attributes like name, customer-number, address etc. with Froxlor. This data is added on creation only. For sync an additional plugin is required. I hope you can make use of this module. Should you encounter any trouble, please create an issue at Github or reply in this thread. I'll update the wiki at Github with some useful tips over the next days. Additionally, compatibility with Froxlor 11.0 is planned soon, even though this Froxlor version is still in alpha (as of June 2022) but it looks like there's just few changes in the API required. It's yet to be tested if upgrades are working but this depends on Froxlor itself mostly. fixed

We assume you've already configured your Tawk.to account and made a widget, this will guide you through what each setting means. Property ID - Click on the setting, bottom left, to open your property settings. In the "Overview", you'll see a "Property ID" bellow your "Property Image" Widget ID - This is only relevant if you have multiple widgets, if you have only one (1), keep it as "default". If you have multiple, go to settings, bottom left, "Chat Widget" and take a look at your direct chat link. It will look something like this: https://tawk.to/chat/{property_id}/abcde1234 - In this case, the "abcde1234" would be your Widget ID Secure Mode - This allows you to track who's the current logged in user in Blesta, having this option on will automatically set their name and email in Tawk.to. 20. Some more information about error reporting with Blesta. This clears up confusion for me. Errors are reported to screen, even with display_errors set to off, as errors are trapped by file app/views/errors/error.pdt The boolean internal variable System.Debug decides whether error.pdt includes a stack trace or not To make sure no errors are visible error_reporting must be set to 0, such as by using Configure::errorReporting(0); Errrors are also logged to various files in logs_blesta directory

  22. Hi there, I'm using the latest version of Blesta (5.4.1) and I've noticed that the last couple of domain names that I've registered via the admin side don't seem to have WHOIS privacy enabled even though I have checked the box. I am using the Namesilo module. Have anyone else experienced this? I have to log into Namesilo and manually change the setting.

  26. If you moved Blesta, make sure that you moved it correctly including copying ALL files + database. Review the big red note in our moving Blesta guide here https://docs.blesta.com/display/user/Moving+Blesta If you moved Blesta correctly, then it's likely your new server doesn't meet the system requirements. See the requirements here https://docs.blesta.com/display/user/Requirements You can temporarily enable errorReporting in /config/blesta.php by changing it's value from 0 to -1 and any errors may be output to your browser, but be sure to switch it back to 0 when done.

  35. I have checked out the new pay-pal checkout https://www.paypal.com/merchantapps/appcenter/acceptpayments/... Having worked in the UK market, I can attest that the best way to save on PayPal commissions is to avoid using the PayPal checkout service. It is preferable to open a wise.com account which includes UK Bank account details, as a majority of people in the UK will pay. There are no commissions involved in the UK bank account. Secondly, PayPal failed to keep their promise of a lower 1.2% rate. Once I integrated PayPal checkout into WHMCS, there was not a single complaint Payments made in 3 months in which PayPal did not continue to charge the higher rate. In response to my inquiry, they clarified that in practice, the lower rate would be charged.

    Friendly URLs (permalinks)

Friendly URLs are, in my opinion, an essential element of any content management system. No one likes a long, ugly URL. But more importantly, no one likes link rot—least of all the site owner who may lose their precious search engine rank when a URL changes. For this reason, a URL should never be dependant on the underlying platform. Here's an example of such a URL, from Blesta's Knowledge Base plugin: https://blesta.example.com/plugin/support_manager/knowledgebase/view/12/testing-your-website-before-it-goes-live/5/ Aside from being unnecessarily long, the URL also includes the following, platform-specific data: Blesta's Knowledge Base is a 'plugin'. The plug-in is called 'Support Manager'. The article is the 12th one that was added to the database. The article belongs to the 5th category that was added to the database. Each of these is a point at which the URL is likely to break if and when the underlying software platform changes. A platform agnostic URL, or permalink, is a URL that should never change, and it's a critical element of website design/development. Tim Berners-Lee stated this firmly in the 1998 article, Cool URIs don't change, where he espoused the concept of URI design. I request that Blesta introduce a permalink feature, which is accessible via the UI, easy to use, and central to the design of the whole system. The Knowledge Base, perhaps, needs special attention, so that database table row IDs are never part of the article URLs. (routes.php does not fulfil these requirements.) Without this feature, the user must go to considerable effort to manually create many individual redirects using Apache configuration files or .htaccess files.

    Client Inactive Status

I think this would address your concern: https://dev.blesta.com/browse/CORE-2222 It proposes a 4th status of "Closed" to client accounts, so that we would have: Active Inactive Fraud Closed And then the "Inactive" status behavior would change, and clients could login, etc.. unless it was "Closed".

    Service Term End Dates

I think that using "to" instead of "-" might be slightly clearer, however, for my client base, I think that the most clear and least confusing way to specify the term would be to use "through" and specify the last day of the term as the end date. Ideally, this would be a configurable option, since preferences obviously differ.

  48. Hi everyone, I've just started using Blesta, and have been working my way through getting it right. I've gotten to the user registration form - there are a few fields I really don't need from clients, and I was wondering if I can switch them off? Similarly, I'd love to be able to add one extra field (checkbox) and hook into it when they submit (an API for a newsletter) - is there any defined way of doing this / could anyone point me in the right direction? Many thanks!
