    looking good!

Your database credentials for your Blesta 2.5 database may not be correct. packages.p_id refers to the packages table in Blesta 2.5, so it's unable to connect to that field, because it can't connect to the database, or the column doesn't exist for some reason. Check your Blesta 2.5 database, is there a packages table with a p_id column?
  3. Paul's post in Re-Order Packages! was marked as the answer
Yes, go into Packages > Groups, click on the group to expand it, then drag-n-drop the packages within the group to sort them.

If that was your ticket in the queue for a dev license this morning, I have issued it and you'll get an email with the license key.
  5. Paul's post in Can't See Where To Upload Avatars For Staff was marked as the answer
Avatars for the ticket system use Gravatar. You can sign up for Gravatar at http://en.gravatar.com/ and upload your avatars. They are associated with your email address, so as long as the email address matches the one in Blesta then it will be displayed.
  6. Paul's post in Invoices Are Not Emailing. was marked as the answer
Check that your temp directory is set properly under Settings > System > General. If Blesta can't temporarily write the invoice PDF to disk, it may not be able to send the email.
  7. Paul's post in Unable To Install Trial Version was marked as the answer
I discovered the issue. A trial had already been issued in the past. When a trial has already been issued for the same domain, the original trial key is returned from our license server. This is to prevent perpetual use by trial licenses.

So, I manually created a new trial key and it appears to be working. Please check your email from the login details.

Primarily, you'll be able to see the location of people by hovering over their IP address on their client profile page, hovering their name in the System Overview widget on the dashboard, and under Tools > Logs > User Logins.

The information may be available in future features, and can be taken advantage of by plugins if they make use of it.

  11. Paul's post in Where Is Core-Xxxx Pending List Of Blesta? was marked as the answer
Just an update to this, we made the roadmap public. You can view it at dev.blesta.com. Please note that when we made this public, all tasks in the system were marked private. We are gradually making existing tasks public, and most new tasks are created public.
  12. Paul's post in How To Resend An Invoice (Changed Email Address) was marked as the answer
On the clients profile page, click the checkbox next to the invoice in the invoice listing widget. At the bottom a field will appear where you can type in the new email address and resend.
  13. Paul's post in Unable To Do Anything Involving Email (Reset Password, Send Emails, Etc...) Manually was marked as the answer
Make sure there's not a DNS issue on that server. The system tries to verify email addresses by checking for valid MX records. Make sure the server is using valid caching servers, and can perform DNS lookups reliably.

  15. Paul's post in Installing+Blesta Step 4 - Cron Job And... was marked as the answer
A cron job and a cron tab are pretty interchangeable, I think.

    I agree, assigned to CORE-791 - thanks!

I'll see what we can do about that, there is definitely room for improvement here.

Not sure why that is, your web server isn't doing any caching is it? Can anyone reproduce?

Forcing HTTPS was actually added to 3.1. We need to split the documentation for 3.0 and 3.1, and will be doing that shortly. Often times we have people asking how they can force HTTPS for their Blesta installation. It's a good idea to use SSL whenever possible, especially when personal and financial information may be at risk. Since not all servers have SSL, we added the rule and commented it out so that it can easily be enabled.     If your cron job is set up and running, then installation is complete. I suggest checking out common tasks in the manual http://docs.blesta.com/display/user/Common+Tasks for what to do next. This forum is also a great place to ask for help!   Thank you for your suggestions!

    config/session.php

Change to the value you want. It's for the entire system, and applies to both clients and admins.

I'm surprised that's not there already, I think it was suppose to be.

Ah, there is a task since May for this. CORE-494
  19. Paul's post in Free Domain With Hosting was marked as the answer
You would create an "Inclusive" coupon, that requires the domain and hosting package to both be ordered for the discount to apply. The customer would then enter the coupon to get the discount, but only if they order both packages. This can be a recurring coupon, so that it applies also when the services renew.

The only remaining step, is that we have a task to allow the coupon code to be passed to the order form in the URL. This way, you could simply link from your website to the order form where the coupon would be automatically added.
  20. Paul's post in Piping Emails. was marked as the answer
You can, just change the path to pipe.php to index.php, make sure to keep all the other parameters.

Yes, so long as the server handles mail for the primary domain.
