  1. I sell digital downloads using the Digital Products module by @Blesta Addons Unlike other services, digital downloads don't need provisioning and the up to 5 minute wait for the cron is often confusing for my customers, so my question is this... is it possible to instantly approve services that don't need provisioning by the cron so blesta can mimic the expected behaviour of having instant access when purchasing digital goods? Thanks
  2. definition of a living legend. thanks ??
  3. @Jono one last thing on the matter. i'm trying to get the Package Group Name in the email template for the package but at a loss. it's not really clear in the Package Welcome Email section of the docs. Can you assist me with the appropriate tag to use to get the name of the package group to be displayed in the emails. thanks.
  4. Thanks jono, you're right, i got it working. i used $this->view->set('package', $package); in the controller and removed $package->meta like you stated. i then edited the pdt which was originally echo $this->Html->ifSet($package->someMeta) ; and changed it to echo $this->Html->ifSet($package->meta->someMeta) ; Appreciate your help. ?? @Blesta Addons I tried opening a ticket on your site but your ticket system doesn't work. i then sent you a private message on here but didn't hear back for 2 weeks. what's the best way to contact you?
  5. This is part feature request part support query... Is there a way to make downloads that require clients to be logged in to be inaccessible until the user has verified their email address?
  6. Hi Jono, thanks for your help. It is definitely package group description i was after as i'm using the group as a product and the packages as tiers for that product. your solution only half worked since the module controller was already setting $this->view->set("package", $package->meta ); and it seemed i could only get one or the other working and not both. I'l just have to find a developer to implement it for me since it seems it should be sufficiently straight forward for someone in the know. Hopefully @Blesta Addons reappears soon so i can hire him since he seems to have disappeared off the face of the earth. Thanks again for your help ??
  7. Hi Jono, thanks for your response. I guess that's where I'm going wrong. How would I fetch $package_group and pass it to the view?
  8. Hi, not sure if anyone can help me with this but i'm trying to echo ($package_group->description) in a service management tab but can't quite figure out the syntax. If anybody could educate me on how to do that it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
  9. It's just missing a very basic UI element which has been an industry standard for years upon years when it comes to accordions or alike... the plus sign! Even the most basic user will recognise the plus sign as meaning "this element is expandable" and then the minus sign to contract it again. it's a simple convention but makes a world of difference. For my latest project launching soon I'm using a table plugin in Wordpress and this is how the expandable UI element looks over there: I'm also using an accordion on my custom blesta order template which again utilises the classic UI element to communicate expandability. so Blesta just needs to figure out the best way to implement the plus and minus signs in their current table design. as the Manage button is on the right then it would probably be best to have the new UI element on the left.
  10. I'm also looking for a way to allow prorated upgrades but not downgrades...
  11. what kind of problems were you experiencing?
  12. perfect. just in the process of migrating and wget is the only way I could get the crown to run in my new setup. cheers would also like to know the answer to this but I assume the silence means it's ok.
  13. love how you did the domains with the name spin. beautifully done mate. however there's an issue in your Blesta when ordering. Files does not exist: /home/cyandark/public_html/billing/plugins/order/views/client/zyan_panel/message.pdt on line 120 in /home/cyandark/public_html/billing/lib/view.php
  14. The screenshots look absolutely gorgeous but the site isn't loading =[

    E-Mail Issues

in your defence they only recently updated that part of the documentation to make it clearer
  16. Is it possible to autofill domain name when someone orders a domain then hosting like with the default cpanel plugin?
  17. Hey mate, I'm clicking "order now" on various packages but nothing is happening? That aside really like what you've done with the site. really made it modern and think you were right to have made the move. all the best =]
  18. modulematic is just a brand name for cyandark. one in the same, except as the name suggests modulematic focuses on modules/plugins whereas cyandark is web design or something along the lines thereof.
  19. It's working perfectly fine for me. then again i haven't dared to upgrade to 4.3. all switch links, email templates etc work perfectly fine in 4.2 for me. but if i remember correctly some people (possibly you) were having problems with 4.2 which modulematic tried to fix for 4.3 in turn apparently introducing new problems by the sounds of it. whats your server config like. php version, web server etc. i think i remember having some problems with the switch links when i switched to apache briefly from litespeed while trouble shooting something else but then again that may not have been exclusively due to apache. all i can say is that its working swimmingly for me on blesta 3.6.1, php 5.5/6, with litespeed and cloudlinux but thats version 4.2. it may help if modulematic mentions what his dev environment is like cuz my guess is its working for him too. maybe there are some dependencies that he hasn't mentioned? also to point out just scrolling back most of the problems appeared to be on reseller accounts. although i have root access i tend to configure these things with reseller accounts just fine so maybe there may be something going on at your hosts level?
  20. there are several places although maybe this may not be what you're asking for seeing as they're "last seen/activity" rather than logged in and I'm not sure if Blesta is differentiating. Firstly the system overview widget on the dashboard shows recent users and hovering over a user will show "Last Activity" with the date and time. Secondly clicking into the client profile, on the left under the box with the client number and details it says "Last seen" with the date and ip. I assume this is what you're after..
  21. if i remember correctly i also had it when it came out but can't be certain. it's in their docs too... "Additionally, a backup code is presented which should be stored in the event that your smartphone or tablet is not accessible..."
  22. whmcs does have back up codes. i just double checked and i still have mine hidden away in a secret vault. lol oh no i didn't mean it to sound like something that should be focused on as a matter of urgency, i was more just pointing out that it's not one of those things you realise you need until you need it and hence the forums or alike may not be the best metric. however i think it may be best to point people in the direction of services like authy as opposed to google authenticator which offers zero redundancy when backup codes aren't implemented. and just this week lastpass also launched a similar service too. so those two are what i'll be recommending to my customers although the lastpass implementation will need a little time to mature. but as naja said it would be something useful in the long term edit: scratch that - lastpass authenticator doesn't sync as of yet
  23. Thanks for the constructive feedback. it's helpful. I'm aware of the js issue, i'll need to find time to gut the base template. cheers =]
  24. isn't that what everybody does in terms of linking? and thanks i guess i'll play around with it a little more although i had already tried several things before deciding on the smaller video but i do see where you're coming from.
  25. to be fair I've been thinking about this for a while and more so this past couple weeks due to a near scare with my phone. so its not that people aren't thinking about it or wanting it, i think the forum isn't always the best metric to determine demand. i guess in that sense it could be that people are simply living with it as 2fa itself works fine and perhaps tokens haven't been lost yet or as license cart said the ability to actually go into the database, but in actuality as the companies of blesta users scale up that will become less and less practical.
