  1. I have a pretty comprehensive support ticket system that has a great API. Is there a way that I can create a custom page within the client area that can run javascript (e.g. angularjs)? If it does exist, would the page be initialized in PHP (so that I could get access to things such as the current client's email address)?
  2. What's the quickest way to change some CSS which would remove the rounding on the text boxes and other non-header UI elements? The header is pretty flat, but a lot of the body elements are not, and I believe the UI would have a lot of continuity if everything was flat
  3. I used to know how to do this, but I can't find the old thread with the instructions! Also, just to check - as of now - there's no way in blesta to do this without hacking my files?
  4. As a user, it would drive me absolutely crazy if I couldn't immediately tell which fields are required, and which aren't (e.g. fax). Is there some way in Blesta I can show this? Or do I have to manually modify some templates? If so, which ones/where are they? Thanks!
  5. Couldn't manage to figure it out. I don't plan on adding any articles, so how would I go about removing it? Thanks!
  6. I remember hearing awhile back that blesta 3.4 would add some degree of control over registration fields - e.g. optional, mandatory, hidden. Did this actually happen? I used a 3.3 trial, and ready/willing to purchase if that functionality was indeed added. Thanks, Sam
  7. Hi folks, waiting to purchase Blesta until the ability to mark fields as mandatory/hidden comes out. (3.4?) I didn't have any luck with the plugins that enable such behavior. Best, Sam
  8. Awesome. Is there an ETA on that version? Waiting for this before I buy a perm blesta license, but I really want to do that soon.
  9. Any updates on this, friends at Blesta ?
  10. how do they initiate payment for a credit? do they need their CC info stored in the system? doesn't that violate PCI compliance?
  11. Well, my use case is this. I'm creating an invoice for a $3,000 dollar credit. They are buying $3,000 worth of credit toward future invoices. If a client buys a site for 6,000 i.e., I charge an invoice for 3,000 and the customer pays it. The credit is being given as a result of the purchase, which is not out of 'thin' air. The problem is, the way I have to do it now, Blesta records the income from the invoice, and then for the credit. I.e. a 3,000 dollar credit purchase becomes $6,000 dollars of income, which is not the case. If I simply generate a credit without an invoice, how can I get a copy of the PDF receipt? I could just put that in the customer's document portal. This would be a good workaround, provided I can get a receipt for recording payment / adding credit.
  12. We only take deposits for services (eg large design or seo jobs), not products. Per my SoW agreement, deposits are non refundable after we've started work, and count as income for that year. Apples and oranges, I guess. I would never take a deposit for random things or fixed rate packages or services
  13. Is there a way to do this in blesta without modding the database or making a plugin?
  14. Darin and I feel pretty strongly about this, in this thread alone. I'm sure more people have agreed, but just haven't told anyone! If we can do it in the database (and risk wreaking havoc on our systems), why not just make it easy and allow admins to do it through Blesta's intuitive, responsive UI?
  15. Regardless of what I want to erase them for, the software should not interfere. We are the users - not you! What we do, what we want to create/delete. The fact that you don't think that we should have the ability to fully administrate our systems is absurdEdit: also, with this type of police-like behavior, you run the risk of users getting creative and attempting to manually edit the database manually to achieve functionality which ought to be standard. Who knows what users may side effect in that process? Then you've got an unnecessary support ticket on your hands. Anything that can be created ought to be able to be deleted. If you don't think that people can't modify their systems without needing a babysitter, then you guys should have created a SaaS solution. Not something that is installed or managed by end users. Why so concerned with money laundering? You're not an agent of our companies. Crooks will find a way to be crooked, even without trivial, unnecessary roadblocks in place. I decided to switch to blesta almost overnight. Once again, who are you to say that I should or need to have a long and drawn out beta process? I'm a business owner, man! My time is the most valuable thing that I own.
  16. This is not your decision, nor your responsibility.
  17. My hero. I'm not sitting here saying everyone from users to basic staff should have the ability to do this. I'm saying that administrators, privileged super users that have the ability to control and edit every facet of the system, ought to be able to remove charges (or any other record) that doesn't belong. Now my test charges are an ugly stain on my system, and are horrible for audit purposes
  18. Why is creating an invoice for a deposit considered so taboo here? A deposit is a cash payment. It can and should be invoived
  19. But this is the only way that I can get a receipt for the customer. That's all they're really after. Is there a better way?
  20. Hmm. That's quite quirky and annoying. I should have that ability as an administrator. Thanks
