  1. As part of testing my setup, I just went through the order process from scratch with a test user. I'm not currently using blesta in a production environment except for importing a couple of clients in for testing. Because my maxmind was setup for reviewing free emails and I used one to make the order, I discovered that not only the transaction but also the order were held in pending status. Once the transaction was approved, the service showed up in the test user dashboard but was obviously not working. The service also showed in the admin view for the test user client as existing, but the order had to also be manually approved for everything to go through and it took me a while to figure that out. I deleted all that and ordered a fresh service as the test user. This time, it was held in the service tab but not in the transaction or the order tabs. When I approved that, I discovered that the password selected by the test user during the order process was not held in Blesta; I had to manually enter a cPanel password to complete the setup. If this were a real client, they'd require an obviously insecure email of the password chosen by the admin. Any ideas on why the password was not passed through?
  2. Interesting. When I "edit invoice" for this transaction, I see: (package) unit cost: 9.99 (coupon) unit cost: -4.995 Sub Total:$5.00 $5.00 -$5.00 $-0.01 So is Blesta keeping track of the $0.005 and going to keep a rolling credit?
  3. I did a test charge for 50% off 9.99 with Stripe, and it worked perfectly with the new file. Obviously, I'm a low sample size.
  4. Is this included in 3.0.4 or do we need to copy this file if we're using Stripe?
  5. Yes, PHPIDS is installed. Interesting resolution. I went to find the PHPIDS plugin and saw that two modules needed upgrading after the 3.0.4 patch. After upgrading those, I tried editing the package welcome emails again . . . and all is well; the updates now save. Weird.
  6. When I enter text into the welcome email portion of existing packages and click update, it waits for several seconds and then kicks me to the portal with no saved changes. (Previously when I tried editing the default email templates, some would edit, and the other half would also kick me back to the portal unsaved, so I gave up and moved to a different url such that I didn't have to edit those templates.) Any ideas?
  7. I had to recreate my already-imported users and whole setup because phpMyAdmin refused to import the .sql or .gzip saying it had errors. So I gave up thinking that it's because blesta is new.
  8. I agree. Had that error too. Also agree that going into mysql tables to figure out what's the issue is unacceptable.
  9. FYI During the most miserable 16 months of my life when I worked in a call center for [the biggest phone company in the US] handling all of their premium customers including cell service and tv, we could see everything on any account we pleased. The "so that we can access your account" was pure BS. Asking for account passwords/SSNs et cetera was simply to verify the identity of the caller. We could make any changes we wanted to anyone's account at any time. However, they logged who accessed what and when for liability and prosecution purposes. The obvious problem of a hidden password a tech has to enter is if someone spells something differently than the tech enters or if someone can't exactly remember the password, the tech accessing their account has no ability to use common sense and discretion. The feature seems to be needed most for support outsourced to third world countries out of the reach of prosecution - or am I missing something?

    Email Piping

Thank you all . . . I've been banging my head on the wall about this for hours. Summary of how to make it work: MemoryX2's tweaks post (#39) Changing pipe1.php (or whatever it is called) to permissions 744 because default 644 does not work.
