  1. Hello! I am currently in the process of switching hosting companies. My 'old' hosting company supplied a complementary license to Blesta and I have since been a big fan. My new hosting company doesn't offer the same 'deal,' and I will be purchasing a license. My question is, I've been looking at two articles describing process and I'm not positive which one I should use. https://docs.blesta.com/display/user/Moving+Blesta https://docs.blesta.com/display/user/Migrating+to+Blesta I have been backing up my current installation of Blesta regularly, but from what I've read I cannot just import from a backup. Is this correct? Any help would be greatly appreciated. This is the last piece of the puzzle in switching domains. Thank you in advance.
  2. I think one of my 'Client Groups' was set to different defaults. Gonna test it tomorrow. Another quick question, if renewals are in the past will the invoicing try to catch up or if it missed it, then you have to do it manually?

    Email Piping Help

Hey Mike, Turns out your were right. It was /user/local/bin/php -c There was another line they had me add: /home/username/php.ini the other two lines were the same (the "pipe.php" and the "index/1/") Not sure if every hosting is like this but I hope it can help someone. My hosting support was great for me. Took a while, but got it done.
  4. I think I need to wait to see what they do with that piping issue (same 'path' problems) to see how to configure it correctly. Although, if I run cron's manually shouldn't it create the invoices too?

    Email Piping Help

Hey Mike, Thanks for the heads up. I ended up going to my hosting support for some of the help. The path is definitely the root of the problem. They've changed it to what you had. It's still not working but they're working on it. Thanks for the heads up. I'll post the results just in case anyone else is having the same problem.

    Email Piping Help

Very new to this whole piping thing, so I thought I'd ask for some help. I've been trying my hardest to get this email piping done correctly. I've been on a few of the forum posts on here, but I really don't know where I'm going wrong. I'm totally new to this piping business and I could be totally wrong in my methods, so I'll just tell you what I've been going through (based on the topics I've read on the Blesta forum.) Firstly, I'm using a reseller VPS account with cPanel. I've successfully gotten the perl module installed with a little help from my hosting. I'm I got to section where I can set up piping in Support > Department without getting an error when I click save. I seem to be stuck at this point. I've attempted to copy + paste the "Piping Configuration" in cPanel > Forwarders > Advanced Settings > Pipe to a Program, but I get RTS's everytime I test it. There may (or may not) be something totally obvious that I'm not doing. I was hoping someone could either tell me what that is, or point me in the direction of a totally simple tutorial on how to do what I'm trying to do (a piping tutorial, etc.) Please remember that I have very little knowledge on most of this. I'm going mostly on what a search engine and the Blesta forums tell me. : ) Thank you in advance.
  7. Hey Guys, Any help here would be greatly appreciated! I recently have started using Blesta and I think it's great...although I just had a call from a client that told they didn't receive an invoice they were suppose to. I'll try to go through everything I did. If someone could help me out to troubleshoot, I would greatly appreciate it. I set up Blesta sometime in Nov 2014. I added all my clients and created packages / services through the Universal Module. Because I was adding all my clients for the first time, I had to 'Manage' each service and change the 'Change Renew Date' on each service. I've gone through all of my 'Settings' so that a client should be invoiced 30 days before the renewal takes place (with another email coming a week before it's due and then 3 days after.) With the client in question I created the 'Service' on Dec 9, 2014 and then changed the renew date to Feb 13, 2015. It's now Jan 14, 2015 and they never received the 'scheduled' invoice. I checked my scheduled cron jobs for sending invoices and manually ran all the cron jobs... I feel like I might be missing something obvious or I may be misunderstanding the term 'change renew date,' but any help anyone could give me would be greatly appreciated.
  8. Hey Paul, Really appreciate the advise. Thank you. If I can't set it when adding the service I think Ima go with option #1. Thanks again for the advise and the bonus tip!
  9. Hey Guys, I'm pretty new to Blesta and I've been having a blast learning, experimenting, etc...One question came up that I was not able to figure out and I figured this would be the best place to go! I'm looking to see if there is a way, using the Universal Module, to have a variable cost I can put in when I add a service. eg. - I develop websites and every now and again, I have to charge a customer for a yearly subscription to a plug-in or program. There are about a total of 12 product subscriptions I have now, but each subscription is used for one customer so I wouldn't neccessarily like to create a product for each one of these. I would like to have one Package that is called "Product Subscriptions" and will be able to input a price each time I add the Package as a Service. I'm aware I can create a Package and make the price $0.00 and then manually change the price, but I was wondering if there was a way to do it while I was Adding a Service. Hope that's not too confusing. Thanks for the help.
