  1. Typically, a cron task that has been executing for over 60 minutes has actually stalled. This may be because an error occurred when attempting to process the task. As Licensecart mentioned in his link, a button will appear after some time that will allow you to reset the task. Otherwise, the task will be attempted again 6 hours later, automatically.

I would recommend updating your config setting to enable error reporting by updating /config/blesta.php and changing error reporting at the top of the page to:

    Configure::errorReporting(-1);

Then clear the cronk task when the button appears next to it. Immediately afterward, run the cron manually from [settings] -> [system] -> [Automation]. The output of the cron should be displayed, along with any errors that may be encountered.

Thank you it was just had to be "reconfigured" in the end. For anyone with the problem, just un enable the setting save it, then re enable it and save that setting then it should "refresh" it thus stopping the "false" alarm.

  2.

    FreshRoastedHosting have a Christmas deal:

Save 20% on any of our cPanel, reseller, or VPS hosting packages now through December 31 2014
-- just use promo code DECEMBER2014

Thank you for the suggestion however I viewed that the TOS seems too strict (such as not using any service to montitor your site/services and etc) and state that I am liable for others' actions (which makes no sense since I cannot directly control a customer's action).

  3. Most hosting companies have similar terms, usually the disk space is just not allowed to be for file storage (like a dropbox) or large file downloads (hosting iso's). You might ask them for clarification on what they consider excessive storage space. Unless you are hosting a download site, you probably won't run into any issues.

As I said above I did however they just said "sorry we cannot change our TOS" even though I never said "I disagree with this" and was simply asking for clarification.

  4. Hi I am getting a warning on my Blesta that a cron job been excuting for over 60 minutes, however there is no cron job currenting going nor error logs. What should I do about this?

    http://i.imgur.com/cyiTsMz.png the warning thing

And possibly the cron that is being excuted but not sure..

The weirdest thing that nothing even happened today (no orders, tickets, and etc) so why is a cron job even stuck and it is really something wrong or just a "false" alarm?

  5. I haven't heard any complaints and from what I've seen webhostingbuzz is a solid company. I have no problems recommending them.

Ahh but I saw them kinda suspicious racking 50GB of disk space and 5TB of monthly bandwidth so.. here what I found "under the rug"

"It is a violation for anyone to employ posts or programs which consume excessive CPU time or storage space

    Proof http://www.webhostingbuzz.com/terms.php

And yes I asked the support and they just said "sorry it's the company TOS and we cannot change it" when I mentioned "I understand the excessive CPU usage but not the storage part of this TOS"... I will check the other companies and if that fails someone recommends me to see if I can get a discount from a "free WHMCS" reseller provider and see if they can lower the price because I would be using my own Blesta license instead.

  6. I haven't checked pricing, but you could also check out site5.com, webhostingbuzz.com, vps.net, uk2.net, delimiter.us to name a few.

Your right on the money! First month at webhostingbuzz.com is only a mere dollar and after that it's only as much as a official license! Granted I still have to be sure they are good but hey it's the best I seen so far.

  7. Hi, does anyone know of any good reseller hosting that ships with Blesta for $18 or under per month with month to month billing? I looked forever and I could not find anything but in the stinking $20+ range, for goodness stake a Blesta reseller that have 150+ can get it for only $5.15/mo so that where I am hoping I can get a good "combo" deal of web hosting+Blesta licensing.

I am flexible with the disk space and bandwidth but what I do care most about is support and reliability.  If you are with a host/know of anyone who does good with the support and reliability points then please let me know. Also the location should be in the USA.

  8. Agreed I think it should be per type of order form like general with a option to disable if it in the package settings if it doesn't suit the module.

Like say 2 Blesta licenses instead of ordering one and going back to order, you could get Qty 2 and it would process 2 orders.

Yes as long it is configurable per package basis then it will be great for any services that we wish to allow this.

  9. That's a business decision you'll have to make, and for some people having super fine grained control over the resources may be what they need.

In my experience, most of the time that overwhelms people more than it helps. Having fewer, simpler, well defined options makes it easier to make a decision. Imagine going to the super market and trying to buy corn on the cob. Rather than charging per ear they charge per kernel. Every ear of corn is a different price and the kernels vary from 400-600 per ear, which one do you get?

Okay thank you for your input on this and I do understand where your coming from. I did configure it with more options ;however, I made it as smooth going as possible so that should help. From the least to greatest and their respected pricing so it shouldn't take anything more than a few seconds to get an idea what to do from there.

I am open to more opinions on this as well as any other feedbacks anyone may have, thank again for feedbacks so far.

  10.

    I have 2 suggestions

    • Having 2 sliders for FTP storage is a little confusing. I would probably combine it into 1, *or* have the plan set a default amount of storage, and then you can just select additional

I had one but for the total amount of storage that I am able to provision is 30.4TB but I understood where Licensecart was coming from with that.. The 30,400 GB I organially had it was way too dense that you can't select say for instance 2. So.. I thought what about having additional selectors so people could order x1GB,x10GB, and etc. So is doing it multiple like that is really that confusing to customers? If so what would be a suitable alternative while getting things like that done?

    • I would recommend a drop down for FTP port speed. Not many people will probably select 36 Mbps for example, and a drop down will allow you to have discounts for greater speeds. I'd probably go with 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 100, 150, 200, 250, 300, etc Mbps in the drop down. The faster speeds could be something less than $1/Mbps.

Hmm okay that actually sounds quite like a good idea. I was just trying to make it like "you get exactly what you require" so they won't have to pay for additional resources they don't want. But I guess since you said most don't order "odd" speeds then your saying making it bit more "standardized" is indeed worth it correct?

  11. I think it's a bit cramped there mate, try the new List design as it can fit a bit more text width wise which is easier to read.

Also maybe a bit too much storage for FTP haha you can have up-to 30400GB for $5,472.00...

Ahh okay thank you very much for the valuable feedback, now I get it. It's was simply way too dense of an order option to even select your exact storage needs. What about doing it like this? http://successfulonlinehosting.com/order/main/packages/SOHS/?group_id=1 Where add additional optional FTP storage options like the one I have for the "per 10GB"?

Thank you also for suggesting a much better order form configuration, it really helps now.

  12. Hello guys can I get some feed backs on the order form that I setup for my service and if you think if buyers will be happy with it? Here it's URL http://successfulonlinehosting.com/order/main/packages/SOHS/?group_id=1

Like for example are you able to configure it easily and understand what the order form is saying and asking you? If not what are the problem(s) are you facing with it?
