  1. Hi We would like to offer a cPanel license (using BuyCpanel for automatic issue) as an add-on/option for a server package - does anyone know if this is supported? I can't find anything in the docs nor create this scenario in the demo but I'm guessing (hoping) it must be possible. I can only work out how to create a package for an individually sold license. Thanks
  2. Definitely something for Blesta to watch in order to stay modern and ahead of the game: https://developers.google.com/web/fundamentals/primers/payment-request/?hl=en Easy to implement for basic checkouts although may be a bit more difficult with Blesta, still something worth keeping an eye on. This will be especially important once Firefox, IE and Safari are on board (I believe Safari are doing a slightly different version though) and when desktops are supported.
  3. I agree with Max. A credit note is simply an invoice with these differences: - Negative amount - Normally a separate numbering scheme (e.g. CR-1000 CR-1001 CR-1002) - Labelled as a "Credit Note" rather than "Invoice" It should be possible to raise a Credit Note as required without it being linked to any particular invoice. The requirements all look fine and should apply to EU invoices in general too.
  4. Here's the two EU invoicing issues I'm waiting on: https://dev.blesta.com/browse/CORE-1277 (this one especially) https://dev.blesta.com/browse/CORE-1287
  5. I'm aware there are workarounds but the request is to provide a more suitable way. It would make sense to me if order forms (optionally) had their own structure.pdt file, for cases where you want the order form to hold its own layout. Having the structure for two separate designs in a single structure.pdt is a pain, it results in the HTML for your design being spread over two unrelated directories. As a modern piece of software, I don't think it's an unreasonable request. Just trying to push for a simpler way of doing things here, keeping an order form design within a single directory and repo from start to end (for those who want it).
  6. Couldn't it be a matter of configuration for order forms? Choose whether to inherit the main theme as it does now, or use its own complete structure. In my case I want everything within the client area to have its own design but I want the order process to feel a natural part of the marketing website. So the idea is to create an order form which the marketing website uses with a design to match. It seems it can be done with a quick hack but it would be nice as a native option, default could remain as it does now.
  7. Well yeah if that's the solution now then I'd rather not have to do that. I see Blesta as a modern billing platform so I hope this kind of thing can be baked in at some point in future rather than using hacks etc. I see order forms as a separate component to the rest of Blesta in many cases, so it make sense if we could theme it uniquely from top to bottom, the entire page.
  8. The issue has been discussed a little bit in the past here it seems: http://www.blesta.com/forums/index.php?/topic/2973-fully-custom-blesta-order-page/ It's certainly not a deal breaker for me as my existing billing system doesn't support this either, but it seems an obvious feature and one I'd love to see in future.
  9. Basically I want to have a completely unique design (from <html> to </html>) for an order form. I have been told this is possible but haven't been able to this poking around with my trial license. So I've posted it here as a feature request but if someone can indicate how it's done already, I guess the request would be considered shipped .

    Release 3.6.1

I'm hyped for v4 and I'm not even a customer currently.
  11. Hi Order forms should have their own "structure.pdt" file, allowing us to theme order forms completely separately from the rest of Blesta (for example to integrate with our website design more easily). Thanks
  12. Hi It would be great if we could access JIRA to follow issues. I'm not sure how feasible this is but it would be useful. There are some issues (such as Stripe JS support) which we require before switching plus other "nice to haves". It would be much easier if we could subscribe to updates on these so we know as soon as Blesta is ready for us. Thanks
  13. No further update on the unaddressed issues? I love that Blesta is paying some attention to this stuff. It's a major reason for me wanting to migrate away from a certain competitor who couldn't care less about these tax/VAT issues. The big ones for me are credit notes and proforma/full invoice number reuse.
  14. Good to know, thank you.
  15. Hi Does the buycpanel.com plugin allow customers to add WHM/cPanel as an optional to another product (e.g. ordering a license with their server)? Thanks
  16. I agree that the issue needs to be fixed. Is there a reason that the pro forma invoices can't be kept in the database and just marked as dealt with / converted / hidden? This way a pro forma invoice ID will never become available for use a second time and we get the added bonus of retaining records for all pro forma invoices which have been issued in the past. Granted, this seems too simple of a solution, so I'm guessing there is more to it (I'm not familiar with the Blesta codebase).
  17. Hi I was just going to have a play with pro forma invoices in the demo and couldn't find the setting anywhere. Then I noticed the demo appears to be running version 3.2.0, any chance of getting this updated to 3.4.0? It seems as though it's quite an old version now. Cheers
  18. It would be great if Blesta had support for these transactional email services which are so commonly used today. Of course we can use their SMTP servers for outgoing email but these guys also support incoming email, plus using their API for outgoing email is much faster than SMTP. Having support for such providers means that we don't have to worry about setting up an email server to run Blesta. Plus they take care of things such as spam filtering, logging, resending emails, parsing incoming mail, and more. For a faster, more robust and easy to set up email configuration it would be great to support these providers. It would be a selling point for Blesta and with the first 10k emails being free with both Mandrill and Mailgun, it seems like a strong point for ease of set up. Thanks
  19. Ok, thanks for the information. I had a chance to browse around the forums a lot on my phone today. It looks like more advanced domain management is potentially on its way in the near future, which would be fantastic. Additionally there seems to be a lot of talk about EU accounting which is great, I have actually learned one or two things from these forums which I should have known already. It seems that Blesta is making improvements and catering for businesses in Europe with the likes of pro forma invoices, so that's fantastic and speaks volumes. I'm definitely wanting to go with Blesta now, just have to make sure it's suitable for the job. I guess the best way is to get it installed and have a play around properly, which I will do soon.
  20. Hi I was originally going to make use of WHMCS as our billing solution, however after having a look at Blesta and the direction it's going, I'm pretty interested. Some issues/questions: 1) Domains. I have looked around every area of the demo but cannot find any configuration for domain registrations, nor order forms which include domain registration. I can see the eNom, Namecheap etc plugins, so presumably domain registration/renewal/transfer etc is supported but I can't see to what degree. What is the support like for domain registrations etc in Blesta? As a shared web hosting provider, this is really important to me. 2) Email. I'm guessing not, but does Blesta support the likes of Mailgun/Mandrill/Postmark for incoming (and outgoing) email? I know we can configure SMTP for the outgoing but it would be fantastic if Blesta supported 3rd party mail APIs (as is so common these days) for sending and receiving transactional email. It would be one less thing to worry about when sticking the billing system online. 3) VAT (and VAT MOSS). I've only been looking at demos and documentation so far, but it seems like Blesta has a suitable set up for VAT. My question is to people who already use Blesta within Europe (and specifically the UK), how are you finding it? Is the VAT handling fine for you? How about with the recent changes from 1st Jan? No doubt I'll have more questions soon, but that's it for now. I'm seriously considering swerving on the "industry standard" of WHMCS and going with Blesta, I just want to make sure the decision is going to be right. I think the WHMCS codebase is pretty old and most likely suffering from code rot, which may be part of the reason they're struggling to innovate and improve the product whilst the likes of Blesta is excelling. Update: SSL certificates. Are there integrations with providers such as eNom for selling SSL certificates? Additionally are domain add-on options such as eNoms "ID Protect" supported? I'd love it if someone could point me to documentation which shows exactly what is supported for each third party service plugin. Thanks
