  1. I found that the Request EPP Code link does work. I had not realised at first it can be clicked on. Could the design be improved so that it does look more like a button or a clickable link? Thanks
  2. The strength of passwords that is being created for new hosting accounts, by Blesta, when new hosting accounts are being ordered / created seems very inconsistent. Sometimes a password will look like this - tes(e6qiz# and sometimes like this - rde4zua7yh It seems that Blesta only rarely creates hosting account passwords which include capital letters. I have my Cpanel servers set to a minimum password strength for new hosting accounts of 80 which is only moderately high. I am finding that new Cpanel accounts being created by Blesta are failing to be created automatically about 40% of the time due to the password being below 80 password strength as rated by Cpanel. Another issue is that I also have a server with Interworx / Siteworx panel, and it seems the only way on a server with Interworx to increase the required password strength is to increase the minimum number of characters for passwords from the default of 10 to a larger number. Is there a way to increase the minimum complexity of the new passwords that Blesta creates for new hosting accounts? Is there a way to increase the minimum number of characters of the new passwords that Blesta creates for new hosting accounts? Also of course to maintain these conditions when clients try to change passwords in the future? Thanks
  3. I have tried selecting to Release the domain and also tried entering the domain name and clicking the update settings button, but it does not seem possible for a client to see the eppcode also known as the UDAI code for NZ domains? I am using the Hexonet registrar module for NZ domains. Thanks.
  4. I would prefer if Blesta also showed only a Next Due Date in my admin panel too - based only on payments being made, not on whether invoices have been issued or not. I agree WHMCS is not perfect, such as the version 8 series being less functional to navigate than the older version 7 series was. It seems they somehow thought that having a smaller number of direct links on a page, which often means making an extra click now for routine navigation was an improvement. One thing about Blesta which is a great feature is the ability to easily add and customize links in both the admin and the client panel. "Both dates" ? Is it not possible to just have one single expiry / renewal date for renewals of both domains and hosting based on payments that have been made before, rather than whether invoices have been issued or not?
  5. But why is Blesta programmed to be like that? WHMCS has a setting where a box can be ticked "Continuous Invoice Generation - If enabled, invoices will be generated for each cycle even if the previous invoice remains unpaid" and with WHMCS I know that I can rely on it to continue creating invoices as long as a client's hosting account exists, including even during periods when a client's hosting account is suspended. I would greatly prefer if Blesta also had the same system of a Next Due Date which is based only on the Next Due Date changing after renewal payments have actually been made. I am also finding that the system of "Date Renews" is confusing some of my clients when they have an invoice that needs to be paid and a "Date Renews" showing at the same time which they perceive as indicating that the invoice must be incorrect and they do not need to pay it. It also makes managing accounts more time consuming for me as I always need to keep in mind that what I think of as the next due date in Blesta could be different depending on Invoices issued rather than Invoices paid. After over 12 months experience using Blesta now I am feeling this is a serious issue, serious enough that I am now considering buying a different alternative to WHMCS when I plan to convert my other sites in the future from using WHMCS to a new program. In regard to terminology I would prefer there to be "Next Due Date" displayed to both myself and my clients. Could we please at least have a choice to make all future billing dates Next Due Dates based only on payments made?
  6. "However, these lower fees are currently only available to the UK and some other countries (France, Spain, Ireland and Greece are countries that I checked, which get lower fees, but the US does not get lower fees)." Thats a 4th. reason NOT to use PayPal checkout. How can PayPal be trusted not to increase rates in the future. Stripe has lower rates than PayPal, and better integration - at least in my experience with WHMCS.
  7. I can say from my own experience in the UK market, a better way to save money on PayPal commissions is NOT to use PayPal checkout. A better way is to get a wise.com account which includes UK Bank account details, as a high percentage of people in the UK will pay to the UK Bank account with zero commissions involved. Secondly PayPal never kept their promise of the lower 1.2% rate. After I implemented PayPal checkout in WHMCS there was not 1 single payment in 3 months where PayPal did not continue to charge the higher rate. After I inquired they clarified that in practice the lower rate would only apply to guest checkout payments where card details were entered. If a person used their PayPal account with a card as the payment source the lower rate would not apply. Thirdly due to the shopping cart process being changed so that people got sent to PayPal before even seeing a choice of paying by Internet Banking, or new customers filling in their details, the commissions I was paying to PayPal actually INCREASED, and I lost a percentage of new customers / business.
  8. Since I installed the new domain manager the Hexonet / Ispapi Registrar module that I had installed a long time ago is no longer being detected as a Registrar module and only Namesilo and the generic domains module are now appearing in the list of available Registrars now for each type of domain in the new domain manager.
