I feel your pain and while I don't have the answer to get back to the stock configuration, I did see that cyandark is working on a way to merge Tasty cPanel to his version of cpanel Extended. This may be an option for you??

Otherwise, I'm not sure what you can do. I've done the same and I'm not installing any more 3rd party plugins or modules either. I wish Blesta could grow a bit faster and get more of these great features integrated into the core. Hopefully some day soon.

If I remember correctly default cPanel does use cpanel_confirm_password, but it's not important as you discovered. I think it's used for password changes. I moved from tasty to extended in a similar way a couple days ago. Good thing about extended is it uses the same keys as default so if it does go tits up you'd only need to swap out module_row_id

Was only a matter of time. I don't even know how to revert to the stock Blesta Cpanel module, hopefully the process won't be too complicated. What I do know is that this is the last time I'm going through this nonsense, I now consider the marketplace to be a pipe dream. I won't be buying anymore third party addons for Blesta because this cycle will continue forever and I really just want things to stay working.

As Licensecart mentioned, the Payment Received email template is a receipt of payment, but does not include any invoice(s) as attachments, if any were paid with it, partially or otherwise.

The only reason I can think that the amount applied appeared as twice the value you entered is if you had paid it twice. For example, perhaps as you were recording a payment, that invoice was paid via cron from a loose $100 credit, or the client happened to make a payment at the same time for the same amount you were recording. In any case, it's best to look at the Transactions table to see where the payment originated.

I am using v3.5.3 and I just realised that when I manually record a payment it sends an email to the customer without attaching the paid invoice(s). Why does this happen? Is there any way to change this behaviour? I checked the email template for "Payment Received (Manual Entry)" and yes the "Include Any Attachments" option was checked. I need to know if this is normal operation that others have experienced or is this a fault with my setup?

I have another weird issue, not sure if it will happen a second time but I recorded a payment and on the invoice it showed the amount applied as twice the value I entered along with a balance that was negative. So for example say the customer had an unpaid invoice owing $100, I record $100 payment, pdf invoice shows amount applied = $200 and balance = -$100. So I unapplied the payment and ended up with a loose credit of $100 and Due $100, 5 mins later cron ran and applied the loose credits and all of a sudden the pdf invoice is correct.

Mujahed graciously signed over the rights of the code to us. We will be going through it to ensure we don't have any concerns over the code base and committing it to Github as a free module. This will include the Tasty cPanel, Tasty Interworx, and DigitalOcean modules.

This will allow the community to also help maintain the modules and submit pull requests to us for new features, fixes, or improvements.

We may also bring in some of the advanced management functionality into our official modules, and we *may* completely take over and fully support and maintain the digital ocean module.

I don't think there is another way other than to change the line of code each time you update. I use these buttons:
    $button_url = $recurring ? "https://www.paypalobjects.com/webstatic/en_US/btn/btn_subscribe_113x26.png" : "https://www.paypalobjects.com/webstatic/en_US/btn/btn_paynow_107x26.png";

    Hello All ,

i will start in coding Quotes System plugin for the community , and i need some ideas feedbacks .

    1 - Why Quotes System ?

Quotes is something related to the productivite and add a plus for the admins , also all the big companies use it , also some companies that offer services (design, coding, mobile APP.... ) with hourly rate (like me) , and need every time send a qoute to the clients then the client accept we creat a invoice for them . i want to make this step as easy as possible .

2 - How much cost this new plugin ?

Is totally Free , but if you consider it worth , you can donate for it .

3 - Where expected to be released ?

first we need to make a simple Quotes system that do the trick , then we will extend it to do more functionality and task and maybe automated task , so the simple thing we begin with it the near future date is released .

    4 - what i have a TODO list ?

i have 2 TODO list , one if for the first release , and second is for next released versions .

i will group ideas based in the easy implementation and the basic feature.

    - Cleint can accept or reject the Quote .
    - Admins convert accepted Quote to invoice   not needed , as the system convert it auto .
    - client can view the quotes assigned to them (accepted or closed or rejected or expired)

    TODO list 2 :

    - cronjob to convert a accepted quote to invoice .
    - Clients can receive the quote via email as PDF , they can also download it as PDF. (implemented)
    - Comments both for client and staff under the qoute (threaded reply/conversation).

Renaming drafts is fine, but no way to email to the customer, other than PDF download, then email manually.

If I say my opinion over at Web Hosting Talk forums certain biased staff members come flying in at warp speed to defend wh??s. My opinion is: this is what happens when you outsource your coding to third world dev companies in India that underpay their workers and treat them poorly. Employee turnover at those places are extremely high. You never see leaked or nulled Blesta floating around the Internet, I wonder why? The answer is simple, Blesta team is dedicated and have self interest at hand so I do not see any scenario where a Blesta coder would suddenly decide to leak a cracked version of their software. I've always believed that the same people who write the code for wh??s were responsible either wholly or in part for the hacks and cracks of wh??s. Cheap labour based on exploitation and super high profit margin of greediness is not very customer centric at all. This is my opinion.

Congratulations! It's nice to see that InternetBS has recognised your hard work. Even better that they are working with you to improve.

Just a note, inside your install folder internetbs\views\default\images there is a file Thumbs.db one of those useless files created by Windows.

Would a moderator be able to move this topic to the feature requests forum please?

I've been playing around with the buttons again, now that the order form page has been updated in 3.2. So now I'm using the following buttons:

    https://www.paypalobjects.com/webstatic/en_US/btn/btn_paynow_cc_144x47.png

    https://www.paypalobjects.com/webstatic/en_US/btn/btn_subscribe_cc_147x47.png

Which results in the order form looking like:

For comparison, it originally looked like:

But what (in my opinion) previously looked so unprofessional was the pay invoice page:

    Now it looks like:

(all the buttons match and line up)

All I did was change the URLs to the images in /components/gateways/nonmerchant/paypal_payments_standard/views/default/process.pdt. Would Blesta consider making these buttons standard please, as my alternative PayPal buttons are neater and more helpful to users?

S.H. got a reaction from serge in Date Received Instead Of Date Applied For Transactions On Invoice
If your bank decided to only put the posted dates and leave out the column with the transaction dates on your credit card bill each month would you be happy about that? Would you be able to match up your gas receipts to the posted date? Now picture doing that for a year of transactions. You may think it does not bother you so nobody else should need it but I'm sure the day your credit card statement had posted dates and no transaction dates you would immediately see the importance of what I'm saying. In my country most of our accounting systems were inherited from UK and customers prefer to have actual dates as opposed to the date posted. I hope this example helps to illustrate my concerns.

Any update on this? Blesta 2.5 invoices had this feature, why was it removed? Every client has to contact us to find out why their partial payment is not reflected on the sent invoice.

A fix for this would be greatly appreciated.

You will have better luck if you use an SMTP server to send out emails instead of relying on php mail. If you have a google apps account for your company domain name you can use Gmail's smtp server to send out the emails. Here are the settings to use a google apps account as your Blesta SMTP mailer:
Delivery Method: SMTP SMTP Security: SSL SMTP Host: ssl://smtp.gmail.com SMTP Port: 465 SMTP User: billing@yourcompany.com SMTP Password: Whatever_You_Set
If you don't have that option then what you should do is create an email account on your company mail server using your domain, be sure to enable DKIM (DomainKeys Identified Mail) and SPF on the server. It's not just Blesta, Gmail does not like mail originating from php mail scripts and worse yet if the mail server does not have suphp and the mail is coming from "nobody". So I believe that changing the contents of the emails will have little effect.
