Start accepting cryptocurrencies in your Blesta store via CoinGate!

During previous year, Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies have proved to be not just a convenient way of making payments, but also an extremely valuable group of assets.

Are you interested to know how your online business could benefit from digital currencies? There are plenty reasons why, and here are our favorites!

  1. Attract new customers that wish to spend their coins. The total cryptocurrency market cap has quadrupled in 2017 alone, and coin holders are very willing to spend their tokens on products online!

  2. Accepting cryptocurrency payments is cheap, easy and safe! No chargeback risks, huge intermediary fees, or country restrictions for your customers. Most importantly, setting it up takes just an hour or so, since you don’t need to fill any paperwork or sign agreements.

  3. Bitcoin gives you a sustainable competitive advantage! Every business needs some marketing tricks to be different to other players in the market. Even though the adoption of digital currencies is growing, don’t miss the chance and be at the forefront of cryptocurrency adopters in e-commerce.

Okay, so how do you get started with accepting Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies?

CoinGate is a company that offers a flexible and easy solution for all online merchants. Integration of our gateway is super simple, and we provide 24/7/365 support to our merchants as well as their customers who need help with making payments.

The perks we offer:

  1. CoinGate is one of few companies that allows accepting not only Bitcoin, but Altcoin payments as well. This feature is integrated automatically for all of our merchants!

  2. Receive payouts in USD, EUR or Bitcoin (we cover Bitcoin transaction and SEPA transfer costs). Never worry about the technicalities of cryptocurrencies - all payments made with Altcoins are converted to Bitcoin, and paid out in Bitcoin or your currency of choice.

  3. We charge only 1% from your orders that get paid, and there are no monthly, registration or other fees.

  4. CoinGate has simplified all the procedures for the merchants. Now, you can extend your invoice expiration time and set up a desired threshold up to which partial payments are automatically accepted.

  5. We have developed free payment extensions for almost every e-commerce platform, including Blesta! Spend less than an hour to start accepting cryptocurrencies and do not hesitate to contact our support team and developers for integration assistance at https://coingate.com/contact

Our plugin is already listed on Blesta marketplace - you can download it here:

Hello, I been looking for something like this but I am confused if this works with all countries banks (including USA) regarding payouts, and frequency as well as any fees for being paid out via bank?

Finally if so what stipulations are in place? Do I just need to enter "regular" personal information and like my last four SSN. Or will I be required to present ID, full SSN, and all of that "jazz"?

@MineHarvest66 If you are looking on BitPay as a girlfriend then yes, she is not talking that much .  BitPay just works + they
We are using coinpayments.net and their module can be found here https://www.coinpayments.net/merchant-tools-plugins

Ahh I see, looks like coin payments just take in the coins? But doesn't let you auto convert to USD in a bank account automatically? Thus you has to manually exchange them for such?

Hello guys, thank you for the comments and questions.

@MineHarvest66  Aswering your questions below:

We as of yet do not serve the U.S. registered companies due to certain regulatory issues, since we're based in Europe; however, we do offer our services to the rest of the world (except sanctioned countries).

In terms of the actual bank transfers, we are able to settle in Euros globally (transfers within Europe are free of charge, international wires are 50 Euro per wire) and we have additional payout options such as AdvCash. Any payments made with cryptocurrencies are automatically converted to Fiat based on the real time rate, and thus we protect merchants from the risk of any price volatility. Keeping bitcoins is also possible though! Most of our merchants opt for automatic weekly payouts, but we can also issue payouts on demand, i.e. transfer funds within 24 hours of request.

With our system, to receive Fiat settlements, merchants are required to pass verification by uploading an ID document, business registration document and business address proof. If bitcoins are chosen as the payout method, then verification is not necessary 98% of the time (our compliance may request verification in some cases).

@CyberHour The feedback front in the crypto-world is a double-edged sword. Most of our competitors, including Bitpay, have switched off customer reviews on Facebook. Coinpayments has a somewhat lower rating of 3.3, so we are happy to remain transparent and try to improve to the best of our ability based on the feedback we receive there.

In any case, since you pointed out our competitors, we're a bit different to both Coinpayments and Bitpay. Coinpayments has a great variety of coins supported and is perhaps the first gateway out there, but they still do not offer fiat settlements and their payment interface may not be up to everyone's liking. Bitpay only supports Bitcoin, they charge end-customers a transaction fee, and they have also enforced BIP70 recently making it impossible (or rather very complicated) to send a payment without a compatible wallet, and sending from exchanges is not possible whatsoever.

We are proud of our intuitive and simple user experience, transparent pricing without hidden margins added to end customers, as well as the timely customer support we offer. Customers are able to pay with 40+ cryptocurrencies, while merchants have settlement options both in fiat and in crypto. Our relationship with technical services in particular is very good, and we serve a big bunch of WHMCS merchants, which led us to also develop an integration for Blesta.

I am hopeful this information will be helpful and if any other questions come up please respond here or send a message to support@coingate.com.

50 Euro per wire? So this is basically not for small companies. So probably Coinpayments is better then.

@Lampard The wire transfer fee is only charged for international bank transfers outside of the EU. If you have an account in the EU, then bank settlements are free (for example with Revolut, N26, Monzo, or many other options you can get an EU account free of charge). Coinpayments does not offer fiat settlements.

If you want to keep your customer payments in cryptocurrencies and withdraw them to your own wallet - we have you covered and it does not cost extra.

Actually i am not in Europe, so that is why it isn't good for me. You could add more payment processor for withdrawals like Skrill.
