A new "Warning" from WebHostingTalk lol

 

This time they acuse me of

 

- Reciving compensations from Blesta

- Self Promoting

I alredy open a ticket to explain me better, today is not 1st of April so im going to laught lol

Can you explain what do you mean about blesta problem being an "Hack job"? I dont understand your meaning.

Blesta like WHMCS, lets you build Modules, Plugins and Extensions, and also has an API. how that is an "Hack Job"? lol saing that your are telling that every billing system out there as a problem because everyone needs an "hack job" eheh

Adding more info, Blesta lets you also add custum code on Core Files if you need, but WHMCS don't, so if you need someting special like adding more functionality to CORE, you can with Blesta, but you cant with WHMCS.

If you dont like Blesta, its your choise, but dont tell something that isnt true 

I Like WHMCS, I only perfer Blesta because of many things I have alredy tould.

WHMCS Secutiry and Support as improved alot. Also the Mobile theme was late but very welcome, because there was alredy an Open Source Mobile Theme for WHMCS long ago (in 2014) and we still use it: https://github.com/ShaunR/template-bootstrap

There are still alot of issues with WHMCS like the EU Invoicing that still isnt 100%, and WHMCS still is a hight target for hackers and we dont know how well coded WHMCS is (yes we can uncode files to see it, but is not legal)

but everithing elese its great and works for an Hosting Buisness 

How can Blesta improve? simple, ask it, and Paul/Tyson/Cody will add it.
How can WHMCS improve? its alredy improving since the major Hacking and Data Base exploit, but nothing that we ask are being added.

Im a simple programmer, that likes to learn more and more, and I dont win anything saing that WHMCS or Blesta is best, I only can tell what I have learned in Hosting Buisness since 1998 (i have worked with all Hosting Buisness Scripts out there, and have licenses from all) 

I have asked to escalate to bear, because he knows me better and maybe he wil resolve this misunderstanding :)

 

I will keep this updated until I have recived an response :)

No need - Any moderator assigned this section of the helpdesk can pick the ticket up, view the history, and respond. It makes for a better throughput.

Andy is really getting to be a tosser, he used to be ok until he changed his name. Donations are normally a one off and not paid but donations is he really that thick. I hope he reads this because he really is a cunt. There's a 42 year old guy called "twhiting9275"  who is allowed to slag Blesta off in any post he wants. But he used to work with WHMCS.

Now if that was me and you, we would be flagged up and banned / infracted but he can willing and freely do it. Double standards and they know it.

Wow, because we donated a few dollars to you? We gave you some money as a thank you for contributing to the community with no expectation of anything in return. If influence is so easy to buy, maybe we should "donate" more often to more people.

 

Thanks for sharing. It seems like they also removed that post by lonea.. where you quoted a "hack job"... really... I kind of wish that were still up there so I could respond. Sure seems he is out to get us, and I'm not surprised since he makes money from whmcs.. he shouldn't be allowed to post negative things about us given that fact.

 

All I ask for is honesty, whether a good review or a bad review, if it's honest that's all that matters. When we don't get things right, we want to know about it so we can improve.

Sorry but my Blesta Signature dosent have to do anything with compensations.

Like I said Im a programmer, and Like I said on almost all my replies, We on the company still use WHMCS but we are migrating to Blesta.

How can you judge a person by a signature in outher foruns? Its like to use "Google" to make a point, my signature dosent have anyting to do with my Reply on WHT Foruns.

Its really unfair. Hope you reconsider, since Im a member since 2004, and its the second warning since then, and this warning is not breaking any rules, I have learned since my first warning that bear explain me to read the rules, and I have readed and Im not breaking any.

Does it not clearly state that you've received monies from Blesta (and others)?

That creates a financially-influenced relationship between you and your donors, which puts them into the category of your "partners, clients, employers or friends.".

In just the same way as I could Google someone to see if they're an employee of a company, own a domain, live at this or that address, or used to go to such-and-such university. It's all freely available public information, and can be used to help form the decisions that we make. I'm sure that you do the same, right? 

Or are you claiming that the information contained in your signature over there is actually untrue?

I beg to differ. Aside from the principle one that brought this discussion about, you included in your post:

"you will see many developpers like me sharing Plugins, Modules, Extension for free, helping blesta to grow."

Beside being self-promotional, another rule applies to that which I'll quote below for you for future reference:

"You may only discuss details about your company and/or product offerings when the thread starter or poster has made direct reference to your company and stated something untrue or misleading, or something which clearly needs clarifying. The response must be in direct reference to the point discussed only and contain no added promotional information and/or fluff. It is advisable when in the above scenario to contact us first."

Let us know if there are any other questions.

I really hate him now hope he rots in hell in the future he doesn't deserve to go in heaven for being a bias sad idiot who doesn't understand donate. Let's hope he never ever comes to the UK. If he did and he "donated" to the Children in need, and his name went up on TV saying thank you. I would slag him off on WHT and claim he had a "financially-influenced relationship" with a charity in the UK.

There's no need to get upset about what happened. It sounds like the moderator over there has just misinterpreted donations to equate to financial compensation that categorize our relationship as a partner, client, employer, or friend, per his statement:

We don't belong to any of those categories, so the statement's conclusion is false.

 

I would also argue that the statement's premise is false as well, since contributions do not always imply financial influence between parties.

 

He seems to have acknowledged that that argument was falling apart, so he came up with another to reaffirm his stance:

i can't believe that . this man is a moderator in WHT or WHMCS !!!

 

 

Andy has taken on from Bear, because from his signature on the Helpdesk I take he is now a Administrator (red) and has been bitten by bear so he believe he now works for both even though he's supposed to be a non bias WHT moderator / admin.

i posted the links so you see its real incident and what other people talk for this and many people see it. this admin made the same i wrote a fake review messing two different names and i was asking for deletion but he was not removing it saying i have given a proof lol i asked him where is the proof and he said i reported and told i resolved the issue with them. he got angry  that he could not believe that he got trolled then he asked me for a conversation i had with a person i posted him and he was not accepting it but he wanted to put hands in my privacy which is very serious and i will consider very seriously this he was googling and putting me email to different websites to find who i am and where i live but since he is a IDIOT THE MOST WORST IDIOT EVER I SAW he was pushing me to say this he liked now every day i will keep posting it in each website i found and everywhere. someone froms his team maybe contact me saying to remove and stop it we will find a solution

The issue I mentioned above is you have made a thread on the forum, but you are linking outside which are the same as in the thread you made here. And evidence to being scammed.

Everything I posted on WHT is my personal experience when using Blesta, I didn't make anything up to make Blesta look less. It is what it is when it comes to Blesta. I would like to reiterate I have Blesta licenses but due to the limitation that I faced during my implementation I can't use them.

 

I check the Blesta forums every few months to see if there's any significant development on Blesta so that I could start using my licenses. However, the community here is still very toxic based on one individual that like to bash the competing product with absolutely no merit.

Jeez, I tried to use some of the advice here and get an escalation to Dennis - bear and Andy flat out denied it.

I admitted that I broke a rule but they wasted my time, were sarcastic and condescending in the ticket and got mad when I rightfully called them out. Over a year they had their minds made up on the ticket and kept cherry picking responses and doing things that wasted my time - they won't escalate because they don't want their boss to see it.

WHT sucks. I wish there was a good alternative, maybe it's time to make one.

Yeah not sure why it's down Chris should get it back up for us, but the hard bit is getting the name out. He's an ex mod at WHT.

That's good, so I'm sure he's got some connections. I'd love to help out on that site once it's back up.

 

WHT just has this stronghold, and they can do whatever they want without repercussions so the admins and people at penton simply don't care - they money from ads still comes..

I used to be a regular over on vpsboard, but it's really died out after it closed down and since the KH buyout, it just hasn't been very active.

Well WHT is dying also...slowly yes but it is not even shadow than use to be... there is also fact that forums are generaly not popular any more like before but WHT is also going down due bad behaive of their staff members and also they had few leaks....I did not even mention  that when you go there it is like time traveling in to 2001 ...They don't understand that it is not in their interest to throw away users just because some stupid mistakes ....they could aford this it self 6-7 years ago but now it is different story.They have very stupid rule "once baned!.."forever baned"...they ban much more people on monthly basis than new hosting companies are opening...add to this fact that forums generaly are less popular with every day...well it is clear  what will happen.Seems no one knows how to count there....I lost my account few years ago..in that time they sent too many emails per week(suppose too many people buy their subscription) and after some time I unsubscribe ...but they didn't stop sending....and I unsubscribe again...well third time I send message to them and discussion with admin(bear I think)escalate ...on email ..not in public(I would never do it in public..)and I at some point just told him to go f**k itself..I don't even rember details..but that is it....I didn't argue about since I did tell him to go f**k ,, and ofcourse it was violation of forum rules..but I did because He was rude....their mailing campaign was literary spaming..every time someone of premium users open thread and post offer..they throw mail...and unsubscribing didn't work,when I ask to remove my mail from promotional offer list He started to argue about..insted to just remove my mail..and that is it.
