Settings > System > Staff > Staff groups > administrators (edit) > Notices > tick boxes. My Info > Notices > tick the box. I use it for issues and orders / payments. Also check out Billing > Overview, click the cog/gear icon for the orders widget. Here you can set your email and mobile email notification preferences for new orders.
