Paypal Standard - No Blesta Email Confirmation

You've beaten me to this feature request!  :)

 

It wasn't until recently that I realised that this was the case and I would really like a Payment confirmation email to be sent for non-merchant gateways, such as PayPal, please. I propose that the current email template "Payment Received (Manual Entry)" is ideal for this purpose.

 

To explain for anyone that does not realise; whilst clients making new orders, paid via PayPal, may receive a "Invoice Delivery (Paid)" email (or even an "Invoice Delivery (Unpaid)" email if the payment is not received in a timely fashion)renewals paid via PayPal will only ever receive the "Invoice Delivery (Unpaid)" email. This is because "Invoice Delivery" emails are separate to the payment process, are only sent once (unless manually queued for delivery again by a staff member) and whether the Paid or Unpaid email is sent depends on the state of the invoice when the invoice is delivered

This is why Payment confirmation emails are necessary, but they are currently only sent for merchant gateways.

Give the guys some time , they are now very bussy with v3.3 , i'm sure after the final  release of 3.3 they can get back for some feature request .

 

I am sure that I speak for everyone when I say that we appreciate that the guys are very busy and we don't want to cause disruption. It isn't that we want the feature implemented yesterday; we would just like some firm confirmation from Paul as to whether this will definitely be implemented or not, and if so, confirmation that it is queued on the task list to be completed in the future. That way, we all know where we stand, along with others that also come along seeking the same request. :)

Totaly Agree with you. I believe even If these features will be implemented In v4 or later but still the request are very important for Blesta's side. As they get to know exactly whats required by the users (In the market). Thats a way of creating a better product.

 

Working from the use/purpose to the technology; Not the technology to finding the use [steve Jobs said something like this :P ]
