RS7588
Title says it all. My main boot drive took a dump last week. Yesterday I had finally replaced it. Sucks replacing a super fast $700 SSD with a smaller, kind of fast SSD.
Daniel B
that does suck . What two drives were involved? (what died, and what did you replace it with)?

A few months ago I bought this one for a new home computer, works amazing.. under $250 http://microcenter.com/product/402608/840_Pro_Series_MZ-7PD256BW_256GB_SATA_60Gb-s_25_Internal_Solid_State_Drive_(SSD) The Samsung 840 pro 256G, over 500MB/s read & write. Windows 7 boots in 2 to 3 seconds. Michael
RS7588
I was using the 220GB OCZ RevoDrive x2. One of the first SSD drives like it. It lasted about 3 years. I needed a quick fix so I purchased a 120GB Kingston HyperX drive from Staples. I miss the OCZ.. It was a beast..4 55GB SSD chips on a pcie card with built in RAID controller.. MemoryX2
I was looking into the Samsung SSD's.. Great reviews/speeds. I might pick one up in the future. I should get one for my laptop. It would be a beast then. Not to mention battery life would be much better.
