I am evaluating other control panels for some of my my hosting clients and have run across the Vesta Control Panel -http://www.vestacp.com/ which installs quite well and runs very fast. Instead of an API, it uses the CLI to administer commands from behind the scenes to add/remove users among other things. I would like to put a vote in for a control panel plugin for that software.

Not too long ago they sent out an email talking about all of the exploits they have been fixing and apologized for all of the security updates that have been annoying people. Counting on a version without exploits is like counting on world peace at the moment.

Well, it's been more than 2 weeks and still no patch from them. I would think, given the severity of the issues we presented to them that they would have released a patch by now. Perhaps those 34 exploits have caused too much work for them?

Would it be possible to implement a feature where custom templates only have to contain editied files? So if a file isn't edited in the template it'll be pulled from the default directory? That would be a really good feature as it'll allow automatic updates to files that haven't been edited.

Thanks a lot for your kind words, I'm glad you like it. It could definately be moved there. The reason why I didn't add it there is because then the static HTML files would not match the footer exactly without adding the copyright to all staic pages also. But if anyone would like to move it I will be happy to make the edit for them or explain exactly how to do it. Regards, Jack

Then the additional request parameters are not available via $_GET. You can either use query parameters (e.g. ".../manage/5/?change=password"), or parse them out of $_SERVER.
