New 3.2 Ajax Order Form Preview
pcfacility and 7 others reacted to Paul for a topic
It's looking like the beta will be starting next week as we have a few things left to do to wrap up 3.2. If you're a direct customer, you will be able to participate in the beta as soon as it starts. 3.2 will have a total of 5 order templates you can select from, including. - Standard (The order form shipped with Blesta 3.0-3.1, converted to Bootstrap) - Ajax Boxes - Ajax Slider - Wizard Boxes - Wizard Slider The new ajax order forms are essentially a one-page order form (for the most part) and come in two package selection options, boxes and a slider. The new wizard order forms are essentially the ajax order form as a multi-step, and it support both the boxes and slider package selection options. The overall designs are basically the same. Here's a screenshot of the ajax boxes, and ajax slider order forms. We look forward to your feedback, especially during the beta. We want these new order forms not only to look great, but to work great too. IP Board scaled down the full size screenshots for some reason, so they appear a little blurry. They are smaller than the maximum size allowed, so not sure why it's doing that.8 points -
Client Facebook Login Access
eversmile_host and 3 others reacted to Bit Bayou for a topic
I needed something similar recently, so I thought I'd share. I feel it's not yet a complete plugin because it does not allow for Blesta account creation through Facebook graph information, but it is a working addon to allow Blesta clients to login by connecting through Facebook. This addon requires the Shared Login plugin. You will need to either create a new Facebook App or have the APP ID and APP SECRET of an existing one. You can manage your Facebook apps at https://developers.facebook.com/apps Once set up Clients will first be redirected to Facebook to authorize the app to view their email address. If the email address registered with their Facebook account is also the username of their Blesta account, the client will then be redirected back to your Blesta Portal automatically logged in to their account. Quick Instructions Download facebook-login.zip Edit facebook-login/index.php via Notepad or other text editor Upload facebook-login/ folder (does not need to be in the Blesta plugins folder) Link to facebook-login/index.php for client login Complete instructions can be found at http://docs.bitbayou.com/blesta/facebook-login4 points -
The wizard boxes and slider look identical to the ajax version, but the flow of the order form is multi-step. Additional designs will follow over time, at least initially with package selection. Here we have a slider and boxes design for package selection. We are likely to implement additional sliders and boxes that vary in look & feel and introduce other types like a vertical listing of packages for selection. The implementation of new bootstrap based order templates makes it not only easier for us to move forward with new designs, but it makes it easier for others to customize the look on their own.3 points

The screenshot showing the boxes have a blue heading, I believe this is inherited from the panel color set for the client area. The slider version doesn't utilize any real color. Both have a header, and the header colors are part of the client theme which can be changed.2 points

Vestacp + Blesta = Awesome
Bit Bayou reacted to EidolonHost for a topic
Hi, Blesta Devs! It would be awesome if you guys could help the VestaCP developers create a method for Blesta to communicate with VestaCP, or vice versa. VestaCP's website says they already work with WHMCS... though I don't have a WHMCS instance to test this claim. But I would suggest that this might be a good idea to have in place early. Right now though, I'm working on figuring out how to integrate VestaCP with the Universal Module, but it would be amazing to have a VestaCP module directly from the Blesta devs. Sidenote: You guys are amazing. Seriously, amazing.1 point -
This plugin allows you to upload files to a particular client's account. It also adds a navigation link called "Documents" in the client interface, which displays all files uploaded to that client with a link to download each. Special thanks to PointPub Media for sponsoring this plugin. Minimum Requirements: Blesta 3.1+ client_documents_1.0.3.zip1 point

Wen Transfering a Domain, it must show on the Invoice/Order/Details that is a "Domain Transfer", it may cause confuse to the client (it make me confuse not showing anywehere its a domain transfer). Possible fix, just add a new language variable (Transfer) to be added before the service name if its a transfer. For exemple, if the service is called "Domain .com" in the cart, order details and invoice, will show "Transfer Domain .com - mytestdomain.com (16/04/2014 - 16/04/2015)" To be better, Blesta Should separate complitly the "Services" and "Domains" because Domains dosent work the same way as services do.1 point

Domain Registrar/transfer Use Aditional Contacts From Client
Blesta Addons reacted to PauloV for a topic
Wen Registering/Transfer a Domain, should be able to use the default Contact Owner or create/use any Aditional Contact, or populate the fields using the contact info Registrant/Tecnical/Admin/Billing info to use for that domain1 point -
They use the Blesta theme colours so you can edit them via the style changer as far as I know.1 point

In short, you need to take the payment as a transaction and then apply it to the invoice.1 point

Paulov's suggestion of making it cron based would solve the issue of requiring the browser to be active while sending. Instead, the cron could send and log the message, and the browser would simply make ajax requests to Blesta to display that log dynamically. The downside is that you'd have to wait up to 5 minutes for the message to go out. Great suggestions1 point

I haven't heard of VestaCP before, interestingly it's name is very similar to Blesta. Just looking at their screenshots, while pretty basic it looks like an excellent open source Panel. Certainly if it works well. Do they have API docs?1 point
