I think sliders that look like nodes are pretty popular, see this screenshot from vps.net - http://i34.tinypic.com/21kilia.jpg This may not be considered "Clean", unless you create a generic looking one that's easy on colors. Usually better that way anyway, because people can always tweak colors to customize. Popular with VPS servers especially, as well as game servers.2 points -

So, I'm working on a few themes, and during this process have realized that using the built in theme editor...there are quite a few areas that are not controlled by the options (for the client theme at least...haven't started the admin side of it). I have created a theme that is supposed to be dark, all of the options that are available are set to dark colors. Here is the result. I've circled the areas in red that do not have a setting to control them via Settings > Company > Look and Feel > Styles As you can tell..it's impossible to get a completely dark theme using just the built in editor...because none of the circle areas can be edited with it. Would be nice if options to control these areas could be added.1 point

The task can hang for a lot of reasons. One reason might be there is a message that's too large, and not enough memory can be allocated in PHP to process it. Or, it's unable to connect to the mail server, or the mail server times out. The "hacks" referenced seem to simply clear out the task quickly -- but the system will do so automatically after 6 hours as intended. The real fix depends on why the process is hanging or crashing. Your server's PHP error log file may have evidence for this, and the fix could be increasing the timeout or memory limit, or something may be able to be done in the code, but it's impossible to know without the error. We actually use IMAP for our ticket system, and I haven't come across this issue at all yet.1 point

The problem with this is that users may end up paying a different amount than they expect. For example the service is $100 USD but is converted when submitting to the gateway to €85 EUR. So the invoice and transaction end up being €85 EUR. This is a problem if the invoice already exists for $100 USD, since the invoice can not be paid by any other currency.1 point

I must admit I am shocked this is not clearly stated on the main pages of Blesta's website. I've just spent 2 hours looking through features and comparing Blesta with WHMCS and I was so close to making the switch until I discovered this thread. Having the choice to use Stripe.js is a must have feature I am afraid. I hope you can implement this change ASAP and rescue lots of unsuspecting users.1 point

I decided back in May 2013, I was fed up with constant updates from WHM** and they used to be issued every night at 2am GMT - 4am GMT. They always broke patches and was slow on support. They also wasn't active on their forums and try to hide everything. Stop you from posting on their facebook, they are immature and to think I was a customer with them since 2008. Anyway yes I had enough of them and though right I need out. Why have a broken billing system. I was thinking about HostBill, ClientExec and Blesta, and thought which one was better... I then found out HostBill was just like WHM** and also based some of their code from it. So why would I move to the same system? So I put that out, I looked at Blesta's demo and looked at ClientExec's. ClientExec was hard to use and wasn't cheap. I went to Blesta's and saw it was $99 owned unbranded license and a free upgrade to 3.x. I then saw they did a 30% off and thought I'd be cheeky and contact the guys at Blesta to see if I could use it to move from WHM** because I didn't have the full amount in my PayPal. I found out that the $99 was already a promotion and cheaper than normal from Paul and I thought yes I need to save up and use Blesta because it's perfect, it's secure and simpler to use. I posted on our Facebook page that we was getting ready to migrate to a new system shortly. My mate Dave from FRH contacted me and asked which one I was considering since they was also thinking about moving from WHM**. Anyway they bought their license before me and I bought ours a few days after. Joining the forum and having a nice experience I knew I made the right choice... and when we got the Beta email to join the forum, I was on this new forum faster than you can say good bye. And I've never ever looked back. Best investment I've put into my business. And that's why I support Blesta and help other to move because it's so much better on this side and not the competitors who put themselves first and not their customers.1 point

To see which tasks are failing, you can check the logs for them: SELECT * FROM `log_cron` WHERE `run_id` !=0 AND `end_date` IS NULL ORDER BY `start_date` DESC; Check the `run_id` with the `cron_task_runs`.`id`, and then the `cron_task_runs`.`task_id` with `cron_tasks`.`id` to determine the name of the cron task that is actually failing.1 point
