Hello All last week i have accros with a particular issue , i need to change/override some CSS for certain page in blesta , like in support plugin / admin client view / admin client edit / login client / login staff . and some other pages of my own plugins/modules . i heat changing the core files , so i have decided to go with vQmod , until i get the idea pombing my though . i have begin coding and coging and coding . inthe end i have GOT it working my Magic Plugin "CSS & Javascipt Toolbox" , the idea was from a wordpress plugin . NOW what my plugin can do ? you need to add a image background to the login client page ? no probleme, add your css and let the plugin do it . you need to ovveride some css style just in particular page ? no probleme, add your css and let the plugin do it . you need to a jquery function in the add payment record ? no probleme, add your jquery code and let the plugin do it . you need to hide some input/label/div without changinf the core file ? ? no probleme, add your jquery code and let the plugin do it . you need to add custom css/jquery/javascript in all client side or admin side ? no probleme, add your custom code and let the plugin do it . how this can work in blesta ? so is soo easy , with blesta v3.3 . my plugin search all the controllers and all the function inside the files , merge then in one array to get the location we need to use it . we check the $params againt the actual URL . if is the url we need we load the custom css/js . first i was storing code in database , but for some reason if we have a large and huge system this can make some load , so i have changed to filesystem and the performance is so pretty . so after the final release of v3.3 i will make it free for all . i let you with some screenshoot Good Night

We will be raising the minimum requirement to PHP 5.3 next year, likely in Q1 or Q2.

is like a small Vqmod plugin very very usefull ... you will see it in action and you love it . Not so perfect

According to here: http://docs.blesta.com/display/user/Requirements Blesta supports PHP versions as low as 5.1.3. Looking at the end of life (EOL) of PHP's releases (http://php.net/eol.php), which means absolutely no support anymore except for MAYBE security releases, here's how it breaks up: PHP 5.1 EOL: August 24, 2006 PHP 5.2 EOL: January 6, 2011 PHP 5.3 EOL: August 14, 2014 Now there's some points here: Blesta doesn't take advantage of some of the nicer features of PHP 5.3+, namely namespaces (release notes on 5.3: http://php.net/releases/5_3_0.php) The fact that Blesta supports such outdated versions of PHP leaves itself open to some vulnerabilities due to also having to use old/outdated scripts that still support legacy versions as well 5.3's EOL just happened, and has been stated by the PHP team that they are only focused on security updates for it now, and 5.4 is not far behind 5.6 just came out, with talks already of either a 5.7 or finally releasing PHP 7 within the next year or two There's also the problem that now Blesta has to provide ionCube-encoded files for not only pre-5.5 but also 5.5 and potentially newer versions. I.e.: I develop with 5.5, and want to upgrade to 5.6 but can't due to this. From a developer standpoint, using more current versions of PHP provides a lot more opportunities to developers (i.e.: namespaces are amazing for a community-driven project like Blesta gives the vibe of). Granted, compared to WHMCS it already is in a lot of ways, but I feel this is holding Blesta back more than anything. If hosts are using such archaic versions of PHP to begin with then there's more issues than Blesta can deal with. I simply propose supporting the feature set of 5.3 and higher (at least 5.3), has supporting something that was discontinued 8 years ago to this day does make development for it more difficult than it should.

We are going to be making use of PHP 5.3 specific features including namespaces, etc.. however to what extent and when I'll defer to Cody. That is the point really, to raising the minimum requirement.

Hell, even put support to 5.3 instead of 5.1.x. At least 5.3 will still be supported for now, and I don't even know of a host that does (or at least should) support 5.1 or 5.2. Even on shared hosting, if people won't upgrade their sites to use something more stable, then you're putting 10 people at risk to please 1.

This is trivial to implement with a plugin using the AppController.structure event.

I agree, the top one is nice but I don't think the bottom one is necessary.

I think something like the simple addition of a way to link different package groups together (associations per group?) and then the ability to get to each one from an order page would be a way to get what you are looking for. For example, you can currently create an order form like this: but once you pick one of those options, there is no visibile way to choose the other one (without going back). Maybe just simply adding links to the associated packages to the order form would be nice. Yep, Blesta 3.3-b1 has 4.1 icons not 4.2 as when it was released the upgraded the icons with another 40, so it missed that beta, but in 3.3-b2 they are having the newest set. Blesta 3.2.2 has 4.0 icons I believe.

Hello,, some more testing and some issues found Wen we create a Package in Packages->Create Package With the option active "Cancel at end of term" The client in Dashboard->Service [with the scheduled cancelation]->Manage->Status->Cancel Option Can select the "Do not cancel" and the cancelation is removed and client can still use the package. Solution: Only show the option in client Dashboard "...->Status->Cancel Option" if the package dosent have the option "Cancel at end of term" activated.

I didnt notice that in the past (didnt tested lol), but in my view (dont get me rong) this is a "Bug" and not a sugestion Dosent make sence because we want client be able to cancell services, but there are one expetion that shows in admin wen creating a package for that specific package as a defined end of life so it has to always be cancelled in that time even if the option. If a user that buys a Blesta license, and he forgot to disable that option (be able to clients canccel services) and a client buys a "Time Limit" package or a "Trial Package" with the "canccel in the end of term" option selected the company will lose money in the end becaus ethe client will still use that package, maybe for free and forever

lol, let me refrase that Pro-Forma invoices are documents with no legall mather, but for tracking propose they are better to see them as "unic" and for that reason I have said the default Blesta 3.3-b1 creates the same numbering for new orders wen that slot is available, so they are repeted and so not sequential in Emails to clients and Logs on Blesta that is dificult to track what is what Wen Paul said in that thread the is not an easy fix, I have to think out of the box for solutions One dirty solution is to use blesta "EVENTS" anouther more complex but real solution is "RANDOM but UNIC numbers", that dosent repet on Emails and Logs wen Pro-Forma invoices are generated But maybe (i didnt have time to peak the code) its more easy to only be sequential like paid invoices

We are intending to extend the portal plugin into a more fully featured CMS. Adding additional links to the navigation, even if they link to external content (ie your existing website) would be best suited for this plugin most likely. You could create additional pages and enter the content in a WYSIWYG editor in Blesta, or link those pages to external content.

I FOUND the probleme , is NOT A BUG ....... the probelem is from the word typed aghahdahdqq.com != Aghahdahdqq.com aghahdahdqq.com is valid domain name Aghahdahdqq.com is not a valid term to search in the phone , they always return the first letter to uppercase .

Made this into a vQmod - See above.
