  4. interesting I was not aware of www.manager.io, that's true accounting software with nix version are very very rare, I had to try sql-ledger.com but it's not very friendly to use. To answer to the initial question: +1 for Xero

  7. Thank you guys for your suggestions! In order for us to create a module/plugin we need to get at the very least 3 votes for each module/plugin from people who are going to purchase it when it is released, for the Netim, if you can bring at least 2 more companies (who are going to purchase it) to vote for it here we would definitely be doing it, as for the Rackspace DNS, a couple of weeks ago we received some suggestions for it so we have it in mind but no ETA, and so is the case for the Runabove module.

    Calendar Memo

A todo list would be really nice to have, and the thought has crossed our minds. When we implemented the calendar, we expected that some 3rd party plugins would utilize it for their own purposes. In and by itself, the calendar isn't as useful as it could be. Maybe someone should build a todo list plugin, and integrate it straight into the calendar.

    How To Reopen Closed Invoice

If the check did not go through, change the transaction from Approved to Returned. I recommend Returned for bounced checks, as that's effectively what happened. Voiding it as Mike describes will work as well. Once the transaction is no longer Approved, it will be unapplied from the Invoice automatically, re-opening it.

  15. PayPal explicitly prohibits you from charging the customer a surcharge to cover the PayPal fees. You agreed not to impose such a surcharge when you signed up for PayPal. 4.6 No Surcharges. You agree that you will not impose a surcharge or any other fee for accepting PayPal as a payment method. You may charge a handling fee in connection with the sale of goods or services as long as the handling fee does not operate as a surcharge and is not higher than the handling fee you charge for non-PayPal transactions. Any charges that you make the customer pay has to be on the invoice and shown in a transaction, following the law in your region with respect to this. Blesta doesn't create invoices in one amount, accept payment in another, and then hide the overages.
