  2. I can see how that would be an issue for domains. We think the solution would be a new option that allows you to determine what package groups allow upgrades/downgrades. So when adding/updating a Package Group, there would be an option to "Allow package upgrades/downgrades within this group". If unchecked, no packages within the group can be upgraded/downgraded. All of the current settings will still be in effect, e.g., only packages from the same module can be upgraded, and clients can only upgrade packages if you have the setting enabled for them to do so. Do you think that would be a viable solution?

  3. Yeah, I kept digging and found a way. Each company has it's own set of client groups. You look in client_groups for the id of the group you want the client to switch to, based on the company_id field. Then you run a SQL query to update the client_group_id inside the clients table to reflect the new company's group. Now you're all switched over!!! Could be a nightmare with enough records, or too many groups but... I managed.

    For français, FR: Translate the following:? Term: AdminBilling.invoices.duration_infinite File: language/en_us/admin_billing.php Type: Neutral string When I translate "?" into "?" (exactly the same in French), I get the following error message: Invalid term ID for version "3.4.0". Also: Well done! You have completed the translation of français, FR. New language definitions are added periodically, please come back later to contribute more to this language. If you'd like, you may translate another language now. The translation of the French language is far from being done, and if I switch from "In order" to "random" I can continue (there is no skip button in "in order" mode).

  6. I came back to post that I figured it out, and then realized you had responded with what the actual issue was...guess my spam filter ate the message notification. The problem was: I wasn't on 2.5 - I was still using 2.1.0...hadn't realized I was so far behind. I upgraded to 2.5, and then was able to successfully migrate to 3.4.2. Thank you for responding quickly; and I'll heed your advice about MySQL as well. -Aaron

  7. If customers can upgrade those packages now, then they will still be upgradable with the proposed change. The proposed change only adds a filtering option that allows you to disable package upgrades within a specific package group. This does not span over multiple package groups. Support for trial package upgrades to a paid package is a separate feature described in CORE-504.

    What are the order dates? The order dates are shown on the Orders widget under the [billing] -> [Overview]. If the dates are at about the same second, they may have somehow ordered twice on accident. If instead, the the order contains two identical packages (click the table row to see), then they are adding two of the same packages to their order before checking out. If the latter is the case, they may have gone through the order twice and not realized that they already had the item in their cart.

    This is what I have understood so far. Currently, in order to sell domains with different prices through Blesta, you have to create a package for each TLD. These packages are associated with a specific group. Let us suppose a customer have a domain.com for example. He clicks at the "manage" button of that domain.com he registered and sees a button to change the plan. Within this small window he sees all domains available to be chosen -- since all the domains are associated with that specific group mentioned previously. Everyone -- not really -- knows it's not possible to change the name of a domain name. Some customers might get confused and think it's possible to change the name of a domain. Is there a way to avoid this from happening?!

    Great finding. This is a BIG problem, I have tested and can confirm this issue (latest Blesta 3.4.3), this cannot, ever, never, happen on Domains On Domains people only have to have the option to Change "Terms" and not "Change Package" I consider this as a BUG, because its not the intended way for Domains to Work. I Will open a BUG post for this to be resolved

    ok, good idea, disable/enable some display/feature using code hack in client template :-) I suppose this kind of option should be allowed from blesta admin interface as it's more something being native-needed in essence than custom

  18. This can be done without any code . In blesta set up the default language . In yiur profile set the english language . My question was for giving the visitor/clients option to change langauge without changing the profile . Ihave already completed this task . Now every one can change the language in any place in blesta from a dropdown language selector . If i have time i will write a howto without hacking the core files

    what you said is interresting, I personaly do not work yet with domains even if the setup is ever in place and like you said one extension by package for having flexibility to change price by extensions. For my need I removed possibility to upgrade package, I sell software licence and my customer can not upgrade from trial to paid, they just order appropriate licence, as I was not 100% certain Blesta manage well such upgrade, I do not want issue for later And yes upgrade package (domain) should not allow makes confusion to customer, you are correct. I think the upgrade package option (enable/ disable) should be allowed at package level and not only for the entire Blesta system (all packages) like it is by now

  24. Your domain and your hosting packages should be in different groups. There is a drop down when configuring the order form to select the domain package group, and a multi-select to add one or more other groups. If you separate them like this, then it should work

  27. i finished a call now with an accountant , due date is not needed in the official invoice . so it can be ignored if proforma is activated . (i'm talkingabout morocco , but i think almost all the laws here are the same as the EU laws ) .
