It is very much faster. Cody will correct me if I'm wrong, but we were seeing nearly 10x speed increase on PHP 7 for some unit tests. Because if the performance of PHP 7, I suspect it will have a much higher/faster adoption rate than past versions.2 points

There's a task for that CORE-912. At the moment, we suggest changing the renew date if the provision date is not the same day.2 points

We are here only talking about initial starting date of service that define all following renewall dates yes, I think I ever mention this before. For now all is done in Blesta like if all payments are always or should be done same day as order but it's very wrong if payment come later ( check, cash deposit, etc...). Service must start from payment date and not from the date of the order, it's just common sence in my opinion. Some type of payment can take 2-7 days to arrives (particulary in countries where the mass do not have a bank account but people can do cash deposit through many retail networks), so for now with Blesta, customer are invoiced for service there was not able to use, because service was not yet active before their payment date.... I never saw this issue with other billing system, common rule is service start at payment date.2 points

So you want to make your blesta installation to look like your website? First go to: app/views/client/default/ Make sure you Take a backup of the default folder or do make a new folder called default_backup and copy the files first before editing. upload the folders you need from your website like /css and /images and even /js if you have custom JS. Now go and edit: structure.pdt Here you can see everything which displays the Top / Content / footer. So remove everything except this: <section id="outer_layout"<?php echo ($this->Html->ifSet($outer_class) ? " class=\"" . $this->Html->_($outer_class, true) . "\"" : "");?>> <section class="layout"> <div class="page"> <?php echo $content;?> </div> </section> As that is the middle content Which we want to keep the same of course. Now copy the header from your website. <!DOCTYPE html> <html> <head> <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8" /> <title>My site Name</title> <meta name="author" content="Blesta" /> <meta name="rating" content="Safe For Kids" /> <link href="http://yoursite.com/css/bootstrap.css" rel="stylesheet"> <link href="http://yoursite.com/css/cubicwebs.css?v=2" rel="stylesheet"> </head> <body> <section id="outer_layout"<?php echo ($this->Html->ifSet($outer_class) ? " class=\"" . $this->Html->_($outer_class, true) . "\"" : "");?>> <section class="layout"> <div class="page"> <?php echo $content;?> </div> </section> Now replace the http://yoursite.com/ of your CSS / JS to: [Remember to leave the external links like google the same] <?php echo $this->view_dir;?> And replace the Title of your design to: <?php echo (($page_title = (isset($page_title) ? $page_title : $this->_($page_title_lang, true, $get_params))) ? $this->Html->_($page_title, true) . " | " : "") . $this->Html->_($system_company->name, true);?> Like: <!DOCTYPE html> <html> <head> <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8" /> <title><?php echo (($page_title = (isset($page_title) ? $page_title : $this->_($page_title_lang, true, $get_params))) ? $this->Html->_($page_title, true) . " | " : "") . $this->Html->_($system_company->name, true);?></title> <meta name="author" content="Blesta" /> <meta name="rating" content="Safe For Kids" /> <link href="<?php echo $this->view_dir;?>css/bootstrap.css" rel="stylesheet"> <link href="<?php echo $this->view_dir;?>css/cubicwebs.css?v=2" rel="stylesheet"> </head> <body> <section id="outer_layout"<?php echo ($this->Html->ifSet($outer_class) ? " class=\"" . $this->Html->_($outer_class, true) . "\"" : "");?>> <section class="layout"> <div class="page"> <?php echo $content;?> </div> </section> Now that will make the header the same. However we now need to add the final Blesta Header code, just above the </head><body> put the following code: <!--[if IE 9]><link href="<?php echo $this->view_dir;?>css/ie9_css3.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" /><![endif]--> <link href="<?php echo $this->view_dir;?>css/jquery.qtip.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" /> <?php // Theme CSS if (isset($theme_css)) { ?> <link href="<?php $this->Html->_($theme_css);?>" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" media="screen" /> <?php } ?> <?php echo $this->Javascript->getFiles("head");?> <?php echo $this->Html->ifSet($custom_head); ?> <link href="<?php echo $this->view_dir;?>css/jquery.qtip.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" /> <?php // Theme CSS if (isset($theme_css)) { ?> <link href="<?php $this->Html->_($theme_css);?>" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" media="screen" /> <?php } ?> <?php echo $this->Javascript->getFiles("head");?> <?php echo $this->Html->ifSet($custom_head); ?> Now it's time for the Footer. Paste your footer under the </section> like: <section id="outer_layout"<?php echo ($this->Html->ifSet($outer_class) ? " class=\"" . $this->Html->_($outer_class, true) . "\"" : "");?>> <section class="layout"> <div class="page"> <?php echo $content;?> </div> </section> <div class="footer"> <div class="wrap"> <div class="foot_left"> <b>Our Products</b><br /> </div> <div class="foot_middle"> <b>Blesta</b><br /> </div> <div class="foot_middle"> <b>Legal</b><br /> </div> <div class="foot_right"> <a href="https://cubicwebs.com/" class="footlogo"></a><br /> © Blesta 2013. All Rights Reserved.<br /> </div> </div> </div> Now to add the final Blesta code to the footer, Under your last DIV put the following: <?php echo $this->Javascript->getFiles("body");?> <?php echo $this->Javascript->getInline();?> </section> </body> </html> Like: <!DOCTYPE html> <html> <head> <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8" /> <title><?php echo (($page_title = (isset($page_title) ? $page_title : $this->_($page_title_lang, true, $get_params))) ? $this->Html->_($page_title, true) . " | " : "") . $this->Html->_($system_company->name, true);?></title> <meta name="author" content="Blesta" /> <meta name="rating" content="Safe For Kids" /> <link href="<?php echo $this->view_dir;?>css/bootstrap.css" rel="stylesheet"> <link href="<?php echo $this->view_dir;?>css/blesta.css?v=2" rel="stylesheet"> link href="<?php echo $this->view_dir;?>css/jquery.qtip.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" /> <?php // Theme CSS if (isset($theme_css)) { ?> <link href="<?php $this->Html->_($theme_css);?>" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" media="screen" /> <?php } ?> <?php echo $this->Javascript->getFiles("head");?> <?php echo $this->Html->ifSet($custom_head); ?> </head> <body> <section id="outer_layout"<?php echo ($this->Html->ifSet($outer_class) ? " class=\"" . $this->Html->_($outer_class, true) . "\"" : "");?>> <section class="layout"> <div class="page"> <?php echo $content;?> </div> </section> <div class="footer"> <div class="wrap"> <div class="foot_left"> <b>Our Products</b><br /> </div> <div class="foot_middle"> <b>Blesta</b><br /> </div> <div class="foot_middle"> <b>Legal</b><br /> <a href="https://cubicwebs.com/terms-of-service2">Terms & Conditions</a><br /> </div> <div class="foot_right"> <a href="https://cubicwebs.com/" class="footlogo"></a><br /> © Blesta 2013. All Rights Reserved.<br /> </div> </div> </div> <?php echo $this->Javascript->getFiles("body");?> <?php echo $this->Javascript->getInline();?> </section> </body> </html> Now you've got the Main core bit's done. Time to replace the extra bits, to make it easier I've made them sections and you can use what you need. Show Login when not logged in, but show Log out when logged in: <?php if ($this->Html->ifSet($logged_in)) { ?> <a href="<?php echo $this->Html->safe($this->client_uri . What Version Of Php Are You Running, And When Do You Think You'll Upgrade To Php 7?
LukesUbuntu reacted to Paul for a topic
PHP 7 is expected to be released officially toward the end of the year, and it is fast - http://www.reddit.com/r/PHP/comments/305ck6/real_world_php_70_benchmarks/ We want to know what version of PHP you are running and when you plan to upgrade to PHP 7.1 point -
This may require a join, resulting in a slower query but Cody will know more.1 point

If it's in the budget, I suggest getting a VPS just for Blesta. Far more secure. I suggest multiple backups. Blesta's database backup is good, but if an attacker hacked your server, they would technically have the information they need to log in and deleted your backups. I suggest using something else as well, VPS snapshots or R1Soft, or all of the above. Backups. Backups. Backups. Nobody was ever sorry for having backups.1 point

What are you suggesting we do? Raise the limit? And if so, to what exactly? Databases have to reserve a specific amount of space for a field, the contacts.company field is varchar(64). Interestingly contacts.first_name and contacts.last_name are varchar(128), so it may be reasonable to raise the company name to the same limit. But based on this thread, I don't know that varchar(128) would solve this.. maybe a longer company name springs up and we're back where we are now. The bottom line is that there *must* be a limit, and our goal is to simply set a reasonable one.1 point

It sounds like you may need a custom import for your data. Besides the basic name, email, phone, and address settings, clients in Blesta have login credentials, services, invoices, transactions, payment accounts, contacts, etc. You may not have (or need) all of that data to be imported, but it would be necessary to know more details on all of the data that you want to import.1 point

Woops didn't see that lol or just use pro-rota1 point

Login pdt does not have that or touch anything 'Powered by blesta' It is located at structure.pdt instead at line 243 to 248. You should contact Blesta if you are allowed to remove that. You need unbranded license.1 point

Blesta For Total Noob?
Paul reacted to OwnerWithYouHosting for a question
I would like to add how to setup support as well as you mentioned you wish to use the support ticketing system as well. To do this you will need to do the following Settings>Plugins>Available>Support Manager Then as the Plugin will tells you will need to configure yourself and/or staffs as per setup To do so go to "Support" which will be next your "Tools" and then you will need to add at least one department and staff. To add a Department do.. Support>Department>Add Department To add a Staff do.. Support>Staff>Add Staff Both will have configurations that you will need to fills out to create them. I hope this helps you out and once you get a hang of it then it should be pretty straight forwarded.1 point
