  1. I was wondering since we have the PayPal refund working nicely in 3.6.0, it would be nice to refund a partial payment.

  3. I am new to your community and this is my first post so excuse my ignorance if i overlooked anything from the features list for Blesta. I have been following the dev of Blesta to sometime now and i have to say i am very impressed by the pace of development and energy in this community. I have been considering Blesta for almost 2 weeks now as a billing platform for our SMB company to switch away from Magento. Does blesta support calculating profit margins on goods/services sold? I just need an extra internal-facing field on each service or product offered in the store. Just a place where i can imput the "Cost" and then the ability to pull a simple report against the cost-field to display/chart the profits on the dashboard. This is a very important feature for us to determine if a price adjustments are needed YoY or on Quarterly basis. Blue.

    Braintree Gateway

Braintree said no hosting companies? First BluePay, and now Braintree? wow I was told that Wells Fargo added hosting providers to the naughty list, which makes no sense.

    Calculate Profit Margins

Blesta doesn't currently store any information on your costs, so it is not able to determine profit/loss. Depending on what you're looking for, such a feature could vary wildly in complexity. A simple addition could be to add a field for you to enter a cost on your package (and package options, if any), and then you can just create a custom report from the Report system to calculate profit from services.

  8. Are you referring to the Term column of service listings? e.g. "1 month @ $25.00"? The price shown here is the expected renewal price, at the current time, in its full amount (all taxes, discounts, etc.). If you think this is wrong, can you provide an example scenario that illustrates that point? i.e., package pricing used for the service, taxes that apply, any coupon discounts, etc. It might be possible to see a different amount when the invoice is created (e.g. off by a cent or something) compared to the renewal price, but it shouldn't be missing a second tax rule.

  9. Extensions like modules, plugins, gateways, etc. are independent of Blesta version, so they can work with newer and older versions (depending on feature additions). Incompatibilities arise when Blesta updates the module, gateway, or plugin system that extensions must use. But this would not happen until a major release (e.g. 4.0.0, 5.0.0, etc.)

  13. Hello everyone, I am so sorry for the bad news, Some people said that since they're not developers having the source code isn't useful for them. The original plan is to provide the source code to the license holders only so they can at least be able to improve them as they need, however, if there are many requests for open sourcing them so other developers can support it and improve it further, well, i have no problem with that.
