  1. First Look to cPanel Extended v6.0 We are in the final stretch, only 4 days left until the end of the crowdfunding campaign, you can still make your contribution to support the development of this module and get your cPanel Extended license up to 50% cheaper than the final selling price. Or you can even get the unencoded version (without ionCube) exclusively from the crowdfunding campaign at FundRazr ________________________________________________________________________________________ Crowdfunding Campaign Due to the Blesta updates and the constant changes of the cPanel API, the module has been broken down over time. I have received several messages here in the forum commenting on various problems they are having with the module. In addition to this, several bugs and even security issues have been found, many of these directly inherited from the old cPanel Extended from ModulesGarden code that was released under the MIT license. As a solution to all these problems, we consider that the best option is to completely rewrite from scratch the module using the latest cPanel SDK (Authentication by Tokens) and the latest development standards. (PHP 7 and PSR-2) The process of rewriting a module as complex as cPanel Extended is a very time-consuming process, so it requires the development team to be full-time involved in its development to ensure a quality and safe product. This is one of the reasons why we are raising funds, in order to finance the time that will be spent on development. Because cPanel Extended is a totally free, ad-free and open source module, it does not represent any monetary income for us, so it is complicated for us to schedule specific time to maintain the module, therefore we decided to make the next version, a paid module, in order to afford the time of development and maintenance and avoid abandoning the module. Although cPanel Extended will now be a paid module, we will release a completely free "cPanel Extended Lite" version, with all the functions of cPanel Extended v5 (But without bugs :p), Also by supporting the financing of cPanel Extended, you will also be helping to the free version receive the same maintenance and development as the paid version. What if we don't reach the goal? If we do not reach the campaign goal within 30 days, all the backers will receive a refund. If you want to support the development of cPanel Extended, you can see more about our crowdfunding campaign here: Go to Crowdfunding Campaing ________________________________________________________________________________________ cPanel Migrator Plugin During the course of the campaign, several users have reported various problems with cPanel Extended v5, from simple bugs to problems that impede the correct running of the business. We know how important it is to have a reliable tool and fully functional in a business, to avoid problems with the customers. Since cPanel Extended v5 no longer meets the security and reliability requirements to be used in a business, we have developed cPanel Migrator, a simple plugin for Blesta that allows you to migrate temporarily all the packages, services and servers from cPanel Extended v5 to cPanel core, until the new version of cPanel Extended is released. The tool can be downloaded free of charge from the following link: https://github.com/CyanDarkInc/plugin-cpanel-migrator/archive/master.zip ________________________________________________________________________________________ cPanel Extended cPanel Extended automates accounts provisioning and allows your clients to manage their web hosting accounts in the Blesta client area! 2. Hi, I literally spent weeks thinking the logging functionality was broken. When you are in the admin gui, and go to tools -> logs, I think it's really confusing(and a VERY easy fix). Here's an example -- if you look at "Modules" (assuming you have one, if not choose "Gateways" or something else). If you click on the anchor text for the "Name" of the log item(e.g. "Stripe in Gateways"), it takes you to the stripe management page(e.g. /admin/settings/company/gateways/manage/1/). I have literally clicked this hundreds of times trying to figure out where the logs actually were!!! By accident, I clicked in the blank space.. and there was a collapsible div with the log data. Simply adding a font awesome expander icon in the blank space would help(e.g. http://fortawesome.github.io/Font-Awesome/3.2.1/icon/expand/ or http://fortawesome.github.io/Font-Awesome/3.2.1/icon/expand-alt/ or http://fortawesome.github.io/Font-Awesome/3.2.1/icon/arrow-down/). Alternatively(I think this makes more sense), change the destination link for the anchor text to expand and show the logs, and add a (configure) link next to it that goes to the manage step. Just a suggestion -- this was extremely frustrating for me and I really thought it was a bad product and the logging wasn't functional.

    Checkout & Pay 404 Error

That sounds like an error attempting to process the order with the module. Your module may be misconfigured, as Blesta is unable to determine the appropriate module row from which to provision the service. You should re-check your module settings and make sure your package is setup correctly to use an available module row from that module.

  5. It might be useful to select additional fields (e.g. client first/last name) so admins can more readily use the queries to find matching clients. They could also use them to generate custom reports under [billing] -> [Reports].

  6. This would be a better question to ask Multicraft. If their API supports this behavior in the future then we can make it available in Blesta.

  7. I appreciate your desire for a setting to control this behavior, and this is something we will consider. However, I must disagree with your 99% statistic, unless you can provide quantifiable evidence for it? If so, a resolution for the current behavior will be coming forthwith.

    [Plugin] Mass Mailer

We would rather focus on the core as well, but we promised the mass mailer in v4 and are planning to deliver on that. We are continuing to make improvements to the core, and with the exception of the mass mailer, v4 is largely about the core. The minPHP upgrade and raising system requirements to PHP 5.4+ puts us in a pretty good position going forward. There will be usability improvements in v4, and probably every feature release in the foreseeable future. There are some tasks in Blesta that can be streamlined and simplified and we appreciate the feedback we've received. We're on it!

    Cpanel Module

The error you're receiving regarding using the word test in the beginning of a domain is an error returned by cPanel. We'll have to look at periods in usernames, didn't realize cPanel ever allowed that.

  10. Unfortunately blesta still dont target the "big money" (domains) and its more focus on (services) than (hosting) or (dedicated/cloud) Blesta can gain a big BOOM (and we as clients also gain more with this boom) if in the next release (3.6 I hope) focus only on (Domains) naja7host and a.daniello is right blesta should change the system as it is, is very confusing for new custummers. 1- Client goes to the website and click on "Buy Hosting" 2- Client choose hosting and options for hosting and is redirected to choose one of the options: a) Regist a new domain b] Transfer a domain c) Alredy have a domain 3- After choosing the right option, if a) or b] with will choose the domain options, and is redirected to the cart to login or creat an account. if the client on the website clicks on regist or transfer a domain, then the way should be: 1- it checks the domain avaliability and shoes the options: a)if available shows price and continue button, b] if its not available shows an option to transfer and the transfer price of the domain and the continue button 2- after that shows the options for that domain and continue 3- now, if this is a must, show an warning that the domain dosent have any hosting package, and an option to choose a hosting option or continue without hosting package a) if it choose to add a hosting package, show all available hosting packages for that group and the options for that hosting b] if choose to not add the hosting, then is redirected to the cart to finish there are many ways to do this, but this exemple and the naja7host are some of the good ways

  11. I'm agree with naja7host. We selected Blesta to sell other web services. After years, we're moving to sell also hosting but objectively there are a few limitations on it: first of all, the way to sell hosting > domain as described by naja7host, especially useful when we want to sell hosting package with a free domain included (as a great number of providers do). We tried with a few old clients that wanted buy some hosting plans: at the end... we done a live chat support to guide the user. As Licensecart often says, a few clients aren't the rule but my question is: why the majority of hosting resellers do differently? Sorry, for my poor english
