I agree not in the Database. How about making it a settings option? So administrators have a choice to implement or not. I don't think it would clutter up the UI. The "Record a Payment" UI is pretty sparse and has a lot of room.

The more I thought about this. It would be nice to have an upload option on "Record a Payment" Not just for checks but for any document that may support that payment transaction. For the uploaded file, a text field for a description of the document and check box to encrypt or not.

Could the image be stored encrypted in the database, not on the file-system and only view-able via a staff group.

I have a business that receives a lot of checks (I don't see this going away anytime soon. A lot of my clients prefer paying by checks.) It would be nice to have an options to upload or scanned to upload an image of a check when recording a payment. Paul...

I like the Draft Invoice but I need to have the ability to make a Quote invoice that can be emailed, stored and linked/copied to invoice. I have made the change for the Draft to say Quote but the PDF still has Draft on it.
