Not sur if this option is a good addition or not, now the suppor ticket use the Gravatar . it would be very nice if the user can select or upload it own avatar picture .

I thought this could only be done through the Gravatar site. That way an individual can set it up once and every site (that supports Gravatar) that they use with the same email address will have the image show up.

Still a lot of users didnt use gravatar. Personally i prefer add my custom avatar image or select from the available in the system
