Em1t Posted November 22, 2022 Report Posted November 22, 2022 (edited) This bug is happening on v5.5.3 How to reproduce: Try creating a client, or mailing an already existing client through the panel and use an email that goes support@test.host or support@hosting.test.com Any attempt to do so, will throw you an error with an invalid E-Mail.EDIT: Found out this is caused because the panel makes a DNS lookup first. I did not have MX records set for my domain. Edited November 22, 2022 by Em1t Found solution
Paul Posted November 23, 2022 Report Posted November 23, 2022 Thanks for the update. Yes, it checks for a valid MX or A record on the DNS to make sure it's a valid domain. Not having a working resolver will do that. Glad you figured it out!
