Blesta refuses E-Mails made from subdomains & unusual TLDs such as .host

This bug is happening on v5.5.3

How to reproduce: Try creating a client, or mailing an already existing client through the panel and use an email that goes

support@test.host

or

support@hosting.test.com

 

Any  attempt to do so, will throw you an error with an invalid E-Mail.

EDIT: Found out this is caused because the panel makes a DNS lookup first. I did not have MX records set for my domain.

Thanks for the update. Yes, it checks for a valid MX or A record on the DNS to make sure it's a valid domain. Not having a working resolver will do that. Glad you figured it out!
