Allow Module Data To Be Displayed On Dashboard

It would be very helpful to have financial and support data available as widgets to display on the main dashboard.

It would be nice to be able to have your billing at a glance (or summaries version) displayed on the main dashboard in addition to a summaries support widget which shows if there are any active tickets.  Currently it involves clicking between three different areas to get an overview of the current situation.

 

To add to this it would also be desired to have the dashboard refresh on a user specified interval to ensure this data is current.

It would be a nice feature for people from other billing systems, but I like it as it is because it means only people in the billing department can see orders / billing status etc.

I'm not familiar with all the ACLs and such but I'm pretty sure making a widget plugin to render only when someone with the proper billing & support permissions is possible.

I think this is the reason it currently works this way.
