Talking about WebMoney, there are some different interfaces, the simplest of them is here and here is the list all of them. The second most popular of the Russian gateway is Yandex.Money (link goes to an API). Also there is an aggregator of all major payment systems in Russia - Robokassa (link goes to an API as well) it is support WebMoney, QIWI, Yandex.Money, Visa/Mastercard and so on in one interface.

There hasn't been much demand for those gateways that I'm aware of, so we haven't dedicated any time to integrating with them ourselves.

Any updates? It is passed more than two years after my first post with a feature request :)

Which single gateway is the most popular for Russia? If we were to implement only 1 at the moment, which should it be?

If there is still an interest in doing this, Yandex is currently in the lead.

Their documentation is available in both Russian and English, and you should be able to create an account outside the Russian Federation to test with, at least within the US.

We need a webmoney sandbox account, but it's not clear how to get one. They make you promise you're not in the USA. Can anyone offer some test credentials for development?

they make you promise you aren't in the USA haha are they scared about the US? or would a UK address / ip work mate?

We have been working on implementing a Payment Gateway for Yandex.Money and have a version ready to be tested.  Unfortunately, the Yandex test environment is not fully developed and so there are some gaps in the testing we were able to perform.  See Paul's forum post here:
