tlchosting Posted July 6, 2014 Report Posted July 6, 2014 It would be nice to see a extension/plugin for the auto install of a script on the creation of a cPanel account by softaculous. There is some API information here https://www.softaculous.com/docs/Auto_Install_API John 1
Michael Posted July 6, 2014 Report Posted July 6, 2014 Would be a nice feature request I'd +1 so you can set up special accounts to install a wordpress only, with FTP access on Blesta.
webjive Posted July 16, 2014 Report Posted July 16, 2014 +1 for Installatron. We have had WAY better luck with their support and stability of the product. ServZoo 1
ServZoo Posted July 21, 2014 Report Posted July 21, 2014 +1 for Installatron. We have had WAY better luck with their support and stability of the product. Interesting you mention that as I am having non-stop issues with Softaculous lately. I have an urgent ticket open from 8AM this morning and it's 5PM now without a response. I'm going to be looking into Installatron as well.
interfasys Posted July 24, 2014 Report Posted July 24, 2014 Installatron is absolutely awesome and comes with stellar support. Might have less scripts that some of their competitors, but the system is a joy to use and devs are listening to feedack. ServZoo 1
Paul Posted July 24, 2014 Report Posted July 24, 2014 Installatron is absolutely awesome and comes with stellar support. Might have less scripts that some of their competitors, but the system is a joy to use and devs are listening to feedack. Maybe you can convince them to add support for Blesta. I've had a ticket open with them for many months, and they promise it'll be soon, but so far nothing has happened.
LukesUbuntu Posted July 25, 2014 Report Posted July 25, 2014 i seen softaculous are adding blesta support for virtualizor product http://lowendtalk.com/discussion/comment/671607/#Comment_669393 this would be good to include as we are moving from Proxmox to virtualizor. But +1 for there auto installer
Blesta Addons Posted July 26, 2014 Report Posted July 26, 2014 we are moving from Proxmox to virtualizor. What is the reason ?
Jonathan Posted September 20, 2014 Report Posted September 20, 2014 If Blesta ends up being chosen for my situation then if there is not Softaculous module at that time I will write one. If Installatron is that good I may also look into offering that to my customers as well and writing one for it I'll make it publicly avaialbe if/when I write it. All depends on if everyone else in my organization will grab onto the idea of using Blesta
interfasys Posted November 27, 2014 Report Posted November 27, 2014 Blesta is now part of Installatron! ModulesBakery and Paul 2

BeZazz Posted January 30, 2017 Report Posted January 30, 2017 I am half asleep so maybe I am wrong but I can not see why you could not use a cPanel hook to call up the Softaculous API to do this?
