Michael Posted August 27, 2014 Report Posted August 27, 2014 May we be able to use Markdown on the Maintenance mode please guys. So we can Bold / add Links etc. Daniel B and Blesta Addons 2
Blesta Addons Posted August 28, 2014 Report Posted August 28, 2014 if you want change the core files i can give you the steps to make it . by the way , i think normally when the maintenance mode is activated , it shold show a message instead of login form . NOTE the client still can reset password in maintenance mode . Maintenance mode = clients can't do anythings and can't access any area .
Cody Posted August 28, 2014 Report Posted August 28, 2014 I like this idea. I also like the idea of showing a maintenance-specific page, instead of the login. CORE-1395 Please +1 this. Blesta Addons, Michael and Daniel B 3
Michael Posted August 28, 2014 Author Report Posted August 28, 2014 I like this idea. I also like the idea of showing a maintenance-specific page, instead of the login. CORE-1395 Please +1 this. a HUGE plus one, Bill. Careful Paul someone might -1 it
Blesta Addons Posted August 28, 2014 Report Posted August 28, 2014 -1 minus = 0 right? -(-1) = 1 Paul 1
Daniel B Posted August 28, 2014 Report Posted August 28, 2014 but you didn't say -(-1), you said -1(-) which is nothing really..
Tyson Posted August 29, 2014 Report Posted August 29, 2014 Here is my *very legitimate* mathematical proof: -1 MINUS = (-1) (MINUS) = (-1)(-) = (-1)*(-) = (-)(-1) = +1 Daniel B, domaingood and Michael 3
Blesta Addons Posted August 29, 2014 Report Posted August 29, 2014 lol with your proof -1 MINUS = NULL
Michael Posted August 29, 2014 Author Report Posted August 29, 2014 lol Excel is old fashioned. Use Google!
Daniel B Posted August 29, 2014 Report Posted August 29, 2014 you guys keep switching it up to make it work... he didn't say -(-1), he said -1(-)
Michael Posted August 29, 2014 Author Report Posted August 29, 2014 you guys keep switching it up to make it work... he didn't say -(-1), he said -1(-) He said what I said in Post 10 for your information -(-1) = +1!
Daniel B Posted August 29, 2014 Report Posted August 29, 2014 He said what I said in Post 10 for your information which was not what he originally said , all you sneaky tricksters trying to change what was first said to make it work out like you want it too...pssh lol
Michael Posted August 29, 2014 Author Report Posted August 29, 2014 which was not what he originally said , all you sneaky tricksters trying to change what was first said to make it work out like you want it too...pssh lol He did say that because I googled it and it came to a 1 and I've never knew you could do that
Daniel B Posted August 29, 2014 Report Posted August 29, 2014 He did say that because I googled it and it came to a 1 and I've never knew you could do that his original statement was "-1 MINUS!", not "-(-1)" googling -1 Minus! or (-1)- or -1(-) does not produce 1 and wow...we've gotten just tad bit off topic, lol
Michael Posted August 29, 2014 Author Report Posted August 29, 2014 his original statement was "-1 MINUS!", not "-(-1)" googling -1 Minus! or (-1)- or -1(-) does not produce 1 and wow...we've gotten just tad bit off topic, lol -5 for you lol giving up Daniel B 1
Cody Posted August 29, 2014 Report Posted August 29, 2014 Order of operands does not matter for multiplication. Tyson's proof stands. The two are equivalent: (-)-1 = -1(-) Proof: By Associated law of multiplication LHS: (-1) * -1 = 1 RHS: -1 * (-1) = 1 1 = 1 [] Daniel B and Michael 2
Daniel B Posted August 29, 2014 Report Posted August 29, 2014 Don't be bringing your logic in here, I'm trying to base my argument off of the flaws in google and excel and them not doing the calculations correctly darn it!!! lol
Tyson Posted September 30, 2014 Report Posted September 30, 2014 Maintenance mode in v3.4 will allow for Markdown, and be displayed on its own page. CORE-1395 Michael 1
