Original Email Templates

Does Blesta store all of the original email templates somewhere?

 

Before I make any dramatic changes to the email templates, I'd like to know if I need to manually save each original text, or is it all safely tucked away somewhere I can later retrieve it if necessary.

Nope just back them up before you edit them. I use two tabs.

I am considering a feature which could "Restore Defaults" for email templates, and the portal markup, but no such option currently exists. My suggestion is to maintain a backup in case you need to restore the previous values.

@Paul I would love to see the ability to restore defaults, as long as we're given the option of doing it on a per template basis. I wouldn't want to wipe out all of my customizations for the sake of restoring a single template.

 

Until then, I will backup the templates before editing them, as you guys suggested.

I believe the email template docs show the default text (in a screenshot), which could be used for reference if you lost the original.
