Invoice Delivery (Paid) - No Email Is Being Sent

Blesta version: 3.4.0

 

 The email template "Invoice Delivery (Paid)" is not being sent when a proforma invoice is paid and the invoice is closed.

 

Clients have invoice delivery method set to Email, the client group as well.

 

We are using Blesta with 2 languages, the email template is properly translated to the second language.

When the invoice delivery 'email' option is set for an invoice, the email is sent the next time the cron is run, and it is only delivered once. If sometime later the invoice is paid, then no other email is sent because it had already been delivered. We have a task scheduled to re-queue pro forma invoices for delivery again after payment (see CORE-1561), but it has not been completed yet.

Tyson, please consider that this is a very important fix.

 

We're using proforma as default, and so for every order we need to resend manually the invoices after payment: this isn't the best for us and for our clients.
