Evaske Posted August 13, 2013 Report Posted August 13, 2013 Hello, Is it possible to allow clients to add funds to their account using Paypal and to pay manually generated invoices with Paypal as at the moment the only option that appears is Credit Card and Account Funds. Paypal appears fine in the shopping cart order form but not in the client area if they want to pay an invoice through that. Thanks
Michael Posted August 13, 2013 Report Posted August 13, 2013 At the moment they don't allow that on v3, however you can on Blesta 2.5
Evaske Posted August 13, 2013 Author Report Posted August 13, 2013 Ah I see. Will that be added with the final release?
SkylarM Posted August 13, 2013 Report Posted August 13, 2013 It's pretty safe at this point to say if it isn't in right now, it likely won't be in for release. AFAIK they are doing a lot of bugfixes and such prior to launch, but polishing features and doing another pass on some modules (cough solusvm cough) will likely come sometime after tomorrow's release.
Evaske Posted August 13, 2013 Author Report Posted August 13, 2013 That's a shame. Hopefully it won't be long before it's added. Somewhat needed. I assumed if Paypal worked for the initial invoice then it would work for subsequent ones!
Michael Posted August 13, 2013 Report Posted August 13, 2013 I think they are doing it however I don't know a CORE- number for you to find out when. But it's so needed
Cody Posted August 13, 2013 Report Posted August 13, 2013 Customers can add payment using PayPal (with or without paying an invoice). Paying an invoice with PayPal: Click "Make Payment", select invoice(s) to pay. On the next step select "PayPal Payments Standard". Making payment (no invoice) with PayPal: Click "Make Payment", then enter a value for "Other Payment Amount". On the next step select "PayPal Payments Standard". Michael 1

Oh thanks mate didn't know that but that's how v2.5 is set
Blesta Addons Posted August 13, 2013 Report Posted August 13, 2013 I think is just need some change in the language file and add another button with ADD FUNDS .

It was because I was logged in as the admin and viewing the client account and then click the add payment link rather than being logged in as a client.
Cody Posted August 13, 2013 Report Posted August 13, 2013 Ah thanks. Only clients can process payments through non-merchant gateways like PayPal. Michael 1
vero Posted December 4, 2022 Report Posted December 4, 2022 Is this feature still available? "Make payments" option is visible from admin's dashboard, but not from client's interface (logged as client, not admin)? Do "Payment accounts" need to be configured prior?
