kpmedia Posted August 15, 2013 Report Posted August 15, 2013 I like to bill on the first of the month. Monthly: When a client signs up, it's for the remainder of this month and next month. Quarterly is Jan-Mar, Apr-Jun, Jul-Sep, Oct-Dec. Clients pay whatever is left on the quarter. Same for annual, Jan 1 - Dec 31. Client pay remainder. This is standard billing practice at most companies. Hosts, credit cards, and cell phones are the weird ones, basing a billing date on a sign-up date. When billing happens on one day, it's done in a few days, and the person can do other things. Messing with billing every day is ridiculous. Anyway, want to see this feature in Blesta. WHMCS has it, but Blesta was better in many ways. This is the only thing missing. It shouldn't be that hard. It's nothing more than manual billing with a calculator in-app that automates it. Thanks! Michael Posted August 16, 2013 Report Posted August 16, 2013 Links provided don't work. +1 for this request. Yeah sorry the Beta forums have been turned off until the next one.
Michael Posted August 20, 2013 Report Posted August 20, 2013 When does 3.1 come out then? Not sure 3.0.1 with new bug fixes will probably be released in a few weeks.
isaacl Posted September 29, 2013 Report Posted September 29, 2013 Need this badly, since I have a bunch of clients paying quarterly, and I can't move everything over until this is added... Any chance of getting this in sooner than 3.1? Thanks!!
vn-jonathan Posted October 5, 2013 Report Posted October 5, 2013 +1 We also require this before we move over. Any update on when it's expected yet? Thanks, Jon
SimplyDigitalHosting Posted October 21, 2013 Report Posted October 21, 2013 +1 this is vital for us to use Blesta overall. Thanks.
Daniel B Posted November 1, 2013 Report Posted November 1, 2013 I probably won't use it, but I think it's good to have...+1
vn-jonathan Posted November 25, 2013 Report Posted November 25, 2013 Morning folks, Any idea when this feature can be expected? As it's currently preventing us from moving to Blesta from WHMCS. And we REALLY want rid of WHMCS right now Thanks, Jon Michael 1

kpmedia Posted January 8, 2014 Author Report Posted January 8, 2014 Not 3.1 A little birdie has said it would finally be in 3.2
Michael Posted January 8, 2014 Report Posted January 8, 2014 Not 3.1 A little birdie has said it would finally be in 3.2 Yep sure is.
isaacl Posted April 24, 2014 Report Posted April 24, 2014 Is this in 3.2? I don't think I saw it on the beta release notes...
Paul Posted April 24, 2014 Report Posted April 24, 2014 Is this in 3.2? I don't think I saw it on the beta release notes... It should be in 3.3 which is invoice/payment related in theme. Michael 1
Michael Posted April 24, 2014 Report Posted April 24, 2014 It should be in 3.3 which is invoice/payment related in theme. Yeah can't wait for this can get a bit of profit in haha
isaacl Posted May 2, 2014 Report Posted May 2, 2014 This is still the main thing holding me back from switching everything over to Blesta... Can it please be prioritized? PauloV 1
kpmedia Posted July 19, 2014 Author Report Posted July 19, 2014 Are we there yet? It was 3.1, then no. Then 3.2, then no. Now 3.3, yet I do not see any mentions anywhere on the blog. What’s next?Based on your feedback, we have the following features planned for 3.3: Proration Proforma Invoices Price Overrides The main reason I bought it to begin with was the promise of this feature -- and it's been almost a whole year now!
