Client error

I am getting the following error:

when trying to log in as a client.

session_regenerate_id(): Failed to create(read) session ID: user (path: )

when trying to log in as a client.

Are you using the beta? V4.0.0-b3?

This is a known issue but should not affect you if you don't have error reporting enabled in your config. (/config/blesta.php) just disable error reporting and you should be able to login.

Hi Paul and Michael,

Too late, I've re-installed again, good practice I'm sure.

One thing I did find though, is there any reason I need to create a database each time I install it?

I try to select all columns and Empty, but it says database needs to be empty.

Also, what is the best encoding to use for the database.

P.S. I have switched to PHP 5.6 and re-installed ionCube

UTF-8. The database cannot have any tables in it, so you have to drop all tables first but you can use the same database name for a new install if you do that.

it was a know issue in php 7 ; but it was fixed i think in the last releases .
