Help with custom report query

I'm hoping someone can help out with this.

I have a client wanting to know the total of all of their invoices paid on a yearly basis so I'm looking into creating a custom report since it's not available elsewhere. Is anyone able to help out and point me in the right direction to the query I need to write?

We're using Blesta v3.6.2 with no additional 3rd party plugins installed.

It looks like a good tool but not exactly what I'm looking for. The client wants to know the total of all invoices they pay on an annual basis. This plugin appears to show a debit and credit of each invoice so if they're all paid, the balance would just show $0.

I just decided to get these numbers from Quickbooks instead. Thanks for tying to help me out.
