m0hamedessam Posted August 27, 2013 Report Posted August 27, 2013 What about if we can add more option on backup funcation like export clients (csv file) maybe we need to use it on newsletter marketing compains and also backup setting so we can restore setting if we missed it up without restore whole database.
m0hamedessam Posted August 27, 2013 Author Report Posted August 27, 2013 also Add Maintenance Database will be good idea either
Paul Posted August 28, 2013 Report Posted August 28, 2013 What do you mean by add maintenance database? The backups are intended to be a full system backup. Exporting other details, like clients to a CSV would be best suited for the Billing > Reports section. If that sounds alright, let's open it up for discussion. Should we add a "Clients" report type to Reports for CVS export? m0hamedessam 1

I don't think Blesta is the place for running those tools. Just my 2 cents.

Ken Posted August 29, 2013 Report Posted August 29, 2013 I am pretty sure Blesta isn't competing with vB. The fact that other web applications have that feature doesn't warrant necessity.
Paul Posted August 29, 2013 Report Posted August 29, 2013 We have no plans for a database repair utility. I suspect VB added this in because it became a support issue for them.
