  1. Yes you need to overwrite the files, be carefull though, pipe.php if you use it needs 0777 after, maybe hashbang'd.

If you edited structure.pdt keep a copy. If you edited the routes to ensure you change them before you do anything.

Ensure you run /upgrade/ after the files have been overwritten.

AND Please BACKUP your files / database just in case.

  2. hmmm, this is really really tempting...have you tried it yourself on live site.....i would be willing to go for it, but somehow i am a bit paranoid about massive beta dysfunctional state...or that's not the case in this scenario?

I use it on my billing area, I always upgrade to Beta's it helps find live bugs and also shows our customers how much we believe in the product and the great team behind it. It also helps get the clients used to the area.

  3. Maybe a dumb question but you're not suppose to be using the main cPanel and the extended version together?  I keep trying to setup the extended module and I get a 500.shtml error every time.  Guess I can disable the one and see what happens.

You can use both, but not for the same service / package. It depends on the version your using.

  4.

    guys, thank you for responses

    @Michael

so you are basically confirming import in Blesta 3.1.3 is doing everything except cron jobs....if that is the case, it wont be a problem at all, since i get the crons done in cpanel.

No the import works but a client's host was awful :)

  5. It doesn't work though, so many pieces of it are semi-working. I think the "bounty" idea is fantastic. This project is not open source(blesta) if you want more contribution then offer a reward/payment system  and this panel will grow much faster. Features, attract customers. Look at all the comparisons between blesta vs whmcs you see the same responses over and over. Blesta is more secure, but whmcs has the modules x person needs.

A bounty is normally for security issues, which Blesta doesn't have. Modules can be made by anyone and sold on to customers from your website (marketplace) or if Blesta are looking for it might buy it from you.

  6. I would say this response comes less from the backend & more from the customer facing side (the modules).  We are currently using the proxmox module & have had multiple complaints & support issues because it doesn't work very well.  Perhaps you guys should some type of dev bounty system for modules to encourage people to fix them up & share them with others.

I know I am currently re-writing most of the proxmox module & I have it in way better shape than what is default.

The thing is mate, the Proxmox module wasn't developed by Blesta themselves directly, so they will probably fix it all up when they can but it works which is the main thing.

  7. I was thinking maybe a feed reader tabs, so you can select which one is default and see different feeds without having a full page probably limited to 5 tabs? So here the default is all, but in the cog, I can select Blesta as the default feed to show up for myself.

  8. Yes, we do own this server and will see mail related settings. But what about tons' of tickets which got automatically created? Do I have to delete them directly in database or I am missing something in Blesta admin UI?

You can use the Support Manager Pro which allows you to delete tickets / Spam protection if you set it as spam. However the only way to block spam is with your Spam Filter.

  9. Wow, opening the support department for non-registered e-mails created tons of new tickets with the same "Undelivered Mail Returned to Sender" title and similar content. And I can see only Merge option for tickets. Can't we completely remove tickets from the system? I've read discussions about preventing invoices from deletion, but what about tickets? Are we as admins able to completely delete tickets?

Do you own your own server that you host on? If not contact your host. Because the reason you are getting it is due to either:

    - Fake emails to submit tickets

    - Your emails are being blocked by the receiver's server.

I use InterWorx and haven't had one for ages, but I have the spam limit to 4, after the spam rating hits 4 or higher the emails are rejected.

  10. Because we dont had any feedback or core status or timeline we have to go foward and not wait ;)

We know that Blesta Devs are working hard, thats why we try to make solutions to help ;)

We whant badly to migrate from WHMCS to Blesta, but we cant migrate until:

1- Diferent Prices for Domain Types / Domain Transfer Handelling (we dont have any timeline or status)

2- Price Override (we know it will be on Blesta 3.3, and this can be somehow workedarround now with duplicated packages or discount cupons)

3- Pro-Forma Invoices (we know it will be on Blesta 3.3)

You could merge but have to cope with the same prices for the domains until it's out as it's going to be hard for them to update it yet.

  11. Hi Cody,

    1. Could you please elaborate little more on "assign you domain registrar module to the form" part as I can't figure out how to use NameCheap module? I have followed http://docs.blesta.com/display/user/NameCheap and entered User and Key, but then looked everywhere under Support (Browse/Groups/Options/Order Forms) and can't find any module related option to add.

    2. I've also created an order page of "Domain and Other" type and can't connect it to NameCheap module (no option anywhere). Also whatever domain tld I enter to the order form I always get:

That domain name is not supported.

It's under Packages > Create a package  (Or edit if you have one)

I've made a small video for you to see how to: http://screencast.com/t/w1lkxv5u
